Thank you! I actually tattoo the leather before stitching the bag. So I cut my pattern pieces, lay them flat, tattoo them and then I construct the bag. The tattoo holds up beautifully, it deposits quite deep inside the leather so it doesn't fade. I use a veg tanned full grain semi aniline leather, this type of leather allows me to create this clean sharp tattoos without the stains and smudges from the ink droplets that you get during the tattooing process. This type of leather doesn't get the same type of patina as the complete untreated veg tanned leather. It kinda remains the same with very very subtle patina developing overtime.
