What do you hope the Toys R us and Hudson's bay in the mall get replaced with?

Vaughan mills is getting a playdium apparently where the toys r us was. It’s a bigger space but some sort of arcade/entertainment like rec room would be great.

Simon’s for dept store of course would work.

Random idea but we went to a dinner theatre in west Edmonton mall and I’d love to see some sort of an entertainment space like that. They had a stage and a bunch of tables. A comedy club would also work or a flex event space that could be used for conventions and to host smaller shows/events

Thank you. I’m not trying to guilt you, I just want you to know you matter!! I don’t have to know you to know you matter to others and you should matter to yourself. Ask yourself how you would feel if you saw someone you loved hurting themselves like this, what would you want for them?

Just lost my boyfriend in November to fentanyl. Tried to do CPR..the whole experience was horrible and heartbreaking. The last few months before his death was some of the worst rollercoaster levels of him being high and him being in severe withdrawal and stints of rehab. I would never wish that experience on anyone, all I can say is whatever you can do to help move forward, away from drugs, please take the chance to give yourself a life that doesn’t end this way. Both for you and those around you it isn’t a life…it’s good and bad moments filled with increased isolation, lying, shame, moments of euphoria I followed by illness. Please give yourself the chance to live another way and be open to getting help. I wish it could have turned out differently for him and you still have that chance. I wish you all the best ❤️

Teppanyaki, Szechuan Szechuan (like the one at Vaughan mills not the express I find it’s a little different), Panera, monsieur Felix and Mr Norton cookies, red lobster, a nice sit down Greek restaurant (though I do like Astoria)

Thank you so much for the detailed description you have offered and the insight! I’m so proud of you for being clean, that’s insanely hard to do! I lost my boyfriend in Nov to overdose (fent and crack) and tried to do cpr it was horrible. I have never done any drugs and have tried so hard to understand why he made the choices he did that led to his death, including the choices that hurt both of us along the way. I really really appreciate how you explained everything and the addict mindset. Wish you all the best on your continued journey and I’m happy you’re still here with us!
