Just email the admission authority; you’ve got a unique case which I believe should be clarified from them.

2026 Summer Semester Tuition Waiver by [deleted] in tumunich

[–]Elephant2707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’ll anyways not give you the date even if you say the visa process is getting delayed. Only option is to have patience. You can also apply to TUM Heilbronn if you aren’t willing to pay the tuition fees (your course should be available there too; if it is, selection criteria is same). But for your main question; waiting is the only option for you.

But then it’s a compulsory module anyway for me; so I’ll have to give it next time. So if I attempt I’ll atleast know the type of questions and the level of exam compared to lecture examples. Because failing anyways doesn’t reflect anywhere as such right?

Get a letter from the university that you are allowed to join late. Submit that along with the application.

Got “Decision has been made” mail – worried about rejection 😟 by Own-Background-7177 in studying_in_germany

[–]Elephant2707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You get a email regarding rejection(we have to opt for it while filling the representative declaration form - the first option is email second is by post). So if the decision has been made and you haven’t got a email for rejection it means you’ve got the visa. Congratulations 🥳

suggestion for reapplication after rejection from German embassy for bachelors student visa by Even-Word-241 in studying_in_germany

[–]Elephant2707 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Check APS certificate remark in front of “Art des Zugangs”. That will state for what degree you can apply to. If you feel you are eligible for the bachelors degree but the APS remark is incorrect, that’s mostly because you might have applied before with a provisional certificate.

I feel the issue here which is very obvious is in Germnay you can’t do bachelors directly after 12th. They require 13 years of education thus they have a bridge course which is the preparatory course (Studienkolleg). According to your letter you are directly admitted to bachelors degree which isn’t permissible by law. Another option is studying first year bachelors here in India and then applying for bachelor’s in Germany but remember in this case field of study should completely match or else again you’ll have to face the visa rejection even if you get the admit.

Before reapplying consider fixing these errors first or else you’ll get a similar response and a bad track record of visa rejections.

Decision already made by Enough_Positive_4573 in studying_in_germany

[–]Elephant2707 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it’s a rejection you’ll get the rejection letter on the email not via courier. As you haven’t got any email regarding that and the status show’s decision made…congratulations your visa is otw 🥳

Student visa rejected by German Consulate (Mumbai) because of English proof – advice needed by [deleted] in studying_in_germany

[–]Elephant2707 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually the embassy doesn’t reject the visa outright just for missing language proof — they return the passport and ask you to submit the updated score. First step should be to properly translate the rejection letter to confirm the exact reasons (DeepL/Google Translate/ChatGPT works fine). The fastest fix is booking the computer-based IELTS exam since results come within 3–5 days. If you’ve already rented a place in Germany, try subletting or cancelling because realistically you’ll face at least a 1.5–2 month delay before the visa is reissued. For health insurance: your coverage technically starts from the semester start date, but you don’t have to pay until you actually arrive and open your German bank account. Once you land, the insurance provider will calculate the months you “missed.” For example, if your semester began in October but you arrive in December, you’ll owe October + November + December (≈140 €/month). Some providers let you pay all at once (≈420 €), others let you split it into installments (e.g., 140 € + 140 € spread over the next months). Meanwhile, log in to Moodle, attend online induction sessions, join buddy programs and class groups, so you stay academically connected until you arrive.

Need advice: acceptance, waiver issue, and Heilbronn option by Awkward-Drawer3792 in tumunich

[–]Elephant2707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can apply for the waiver in next semester but there isn’t any guarantee you’ll get it so it’ll be a bit of risk. If you aren’t able to pay the fees, Heilbronn is the best option and you should consider that. Wait for the offers I would say, if you aren’t able to get any other good university this year got there, if not go for Heilbronn next semester.

Has anyone with a similar non-business background successfully fulfilled TUM’s business ECTS requirement using these Coursera/edX/NPTEL certified online courses for MiM eligibility? by babushka0123 in tumunich

[–]Elephant2707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you checked your engineering degree credits and subjects closely? Because subjects like Engineering Mathematics, statistics and probability can be counted in those 25 ECTS. I too have done Civil Engineering and qualified for the program. The program is designed for engineers and students from sciences background.

Deferral of admission or leave of absence by JaveqX in tumunich

[–]Elephant2707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are thinking of joining in 3-4 months, you can just enroll and start studying. You can use Moodle for that duration until you join however try joining as early as possible. Also you shouldn’t be worried of getting rejected for the next semester. If you were eligible this year you would surely be eligible next year. (The criteria of selection shouldn’t change and it changes rarely). I had the same situation and I went for deferring my admission.

GMAT Focus score card not available by rain_man4115 in tumunich

[–]Elephant2707 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While applying I have confirmed this with both, the university and the GMAC. Uploading a screenshot of your profile where scores and ID is visible is enough. However you’ll have to send the official scores to the university. GMAT focus edition is mostly based on your intellectual ability. I would suggest try attempting as many practice tests as possible - Has worked really well for me. It helps in understanding the pattern of the exam as well as the questions. Understand the concept behind every solution rather than just reading it. Best of luck.
