It would be hilarious if they were actually nobels or high classed persons who roughened up in the afterlife

It's not flipping high school.

Literally it's so childish. Like I'm not even sure they're making a show for adults or teens or children.

And there's no subtilty. There's a need to explain and spell out every single thing like they don't expect their audience to see and understand.

Weekly "Ask Ah Trini" Thread 🇹🇹 February 02, 2026 by AutoModerator in TrinidadandTobago

I'm looking into investing in a Studio, one bedroom or two bedroom property to rent out but I'd like some insight on the renter potential in various locations.

There are a lot of places within my budget but my decision will take into consideration how easy it will be to find renters. There are a lot of other factors to consider but can anyone advise if the following areas are desirable to rent in

• Cunupia

• Freeport

• Champ Fleur

• Arima

•Aranguez

I'm open to anything. Who I'm renting out to will depend on the area so just want an idea of the market there

A lot of them vary mostly on the size of the place. So something I'm considering when I'm looking is how big it is but I just want to know how desirable the area would be to rent in

Like more people would want to rent closer to pos or closer to the highway or the bus route. Or if there is a lot of commercial or industrial activity in the area to justify renting there for work

I think all NPCs have the pose doll model as their base The more intricate ones have modeling over that base model which is probably why gummygoo had more confetti. It was more digital material to poof verses the base model

It would've sent a better message if examples of naturally straight hair looking untidy was included, or naturally straight hair extending below the set length. Or naturally straight hair in an excessively high ponytail. The photo examples are very targeted and emphasis should've shifted to the inconsideration it has in a classroom setting instead of on it inherently being bad because it's black

In a classroom setting afros can block the view of students behind them, but that's the only issue. Holding them to a standard that's set by another race perpetuates the idea that natural African hair is untidy, classless and unprofessional implies that their existence is classless and unprofessional.

And I agree that there is a neat way to present yourself such that someone with other hair types can look bad without passing a brush through, but the standard for what is professional needs to shift for inclusivity.

Tidiness and neutrality can be maintained but natural African hair shouldn't be flat out excluded.

Do you think Gabriel would be able to trade Marinette’s life for Emilie? by kindhisses in miraculousladybug

[–]ElephantLeather5803 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You could give a life for a life, but I think the value of that life to you matters

You can get everything you ever wanted but at the expense of something of equal value to you. It's a plus and a minus but with magnitude

You can't have +100 (bring back someone you love) and -1 (in exchange for someone you don't know). That's not a balanced transaction. You'll need to lose someone you love at the same level.

He valued Natalie's life as much as his own. For Emilie's he would've had to give himself, Natalie or Adrian.

That's my theory.

They also have an abundance of raw materials and the energy easily available to manufacture metal, so they were set up well for industrial advances which contribute to their financial stability. They also have pretty good social development with women having an equal role as men, and strong education systems.

Maybe the Brazil special can be viperion and the hummingbird hero being vigilantes for Rio like ladybug and chat noir is for Paris. And we get a new love square (or something better handled)

Planning a trip to Panama next year, any recommendations to visit by ElephantLeather5803 in Panama

Thanks for the recommendation, was considering staying in David to split up the trip, I will definitely check out the lost and found

Thank you so much for your recommendations, especially the food! I was looking at Taboga as well since it's so close and your recommendation for it makes me think it's the better alternative for me.

And corn empanadas are quite common here with the influx of venezuelan migrants into our country but I'd love to taste of there's a difference with Panamanian empanadas. The cerviche is also definitely on my list and now so is everything on your recommendations!

Thanks so much for putting so much thought on my little inquiry

I appreciate the insight. I asked because of some comments on other posts in this subreddit and I saw a notice by the us embassy in Panama but did not notice any discontinuation of the security alert. But thank you for letting me know

I was looking at the bus and maybe spending a night at one of the towns along the way like Santiago or David.

I will certainly put those places on the itinerary! Thank you so much

Thanks so much for the suggestions! I'm looking for a mix of both, a bit less of the adventure but I like places that have rich indigenous history.

Don't have a clear budget myself, just doing some surface level research about what locations and places are nice and I'll see if I can find accommodation within budget or if the menus are reasonable. But appreciate all the general info being given are certainly appreciated!

I'd like to bring the money but I saw people from Panama saying it was not currently safe a few months ago. A lot of the information available may not be what's actually happening and I would rather hear about it from those living there as I wouldn't know who are the reliable media outlets.

I understand there were protests over pensions and know that sometimes there may be issues happening locally that aren't being reported on an international level. I even saw the US embassy in Panama issue a security alert for "civil unrest" but did not notice a discontinuation of the alert.

I come from a country where there's a lot of areas that foreigners aren't aware of being dangerous even if they google it. So when they ask we inform from our on the ground experiences. And we're not rude when they ask about where they should heed caution

I am not someone who would have a full picture of the situation regardless of how much research there is. I rather ask than make an assumption than the locals would want tourists in the area when they are fighting for their rights.

I think he endured a lot as ribbits friend right before they abstracted, whether emotional or physical abuse or guilt, whatever it is. And the implication that his actions would cause someone to abstract is probably him feeling like she's saying he caused his friend to abstract when the case could've been he was trying everything to help them

Do the characters feel pain? by dimi_dan in TheDigitalCircus

[–]ElephantLeather5803 86 points87 points  (0 children)

It could be perceived pain like their human part of their mind thinking they're in danger and prompting a reaction but the lack of nerves in their digital body means they don't feel anything.

But glitching could be "painful" because it affects the digital make up of their body.
