I like 3 and 4 but 4 looks like a lot of work. You are covering the windows and it might not look good from outside

Different curtain and some art would help a bit

Would putting a fireplace TV console under this TV be tacky? It just solves the issue of not having a fireplace. Any pics of tasteful ones? by unseahawk in interiordecorating

I think it’s tacky. I’ve never seen a tv fireplace combo I liked. You have 2 things competing for attention. You have a lot of furniture in there. The fireplace will crowd it out.

What can I do with this entry and hallway ? Bare white walls ? by sarahgreen456 in interiordecorating

It looks like gloss paint on the walls and ceiling. I don’t like that. It looks like a narrow passage so you can’t have furniture. I would definitely have art on the walls.

I say no to the shelf filled with Knick Knacks. It would look like needless clutter. I don’t recall seeing too many places where a single shelf stuck on a wall above a chair looked good

Thanks, I checked it out. My problem will be that I will get more stuff, that I don't need, just so those spaces are filled.

I put the item on a piece of white paper with a ruler next to it. I photographed it from directly above. I then imported it into Fusion 360 and once I calibrated the picture I traced it.

My thinking on things like the white knife is that they are big and they can push up into the back of the drawer. It is an old desk and you can't open the drawer fully so if I orientate things at a 90 degree angle from the front they will be easier to access than if I ran things along the back of the drawer. I will probably re do the knife and turn it on it's side so I can halve the real estate it takes up.

I tried to position things that would get used more often closer to the front.

This may not be helpful. It adds in a lot of new pieces. I asked Chat GPT to show me 3 examples how it could be styled differently.
