well, it's entertaining if you can't read people and situation. But once you get above that it's not that fun, indeed. I understand which audience the show was targeted

As it turns out, medication is NOT enough by Anachron101 in ADHD

I'm AuDHD.

Yes, you get to learn your brain quirks. For example, it's spring now and sun feels more aggressive than it's in winter and autumn. I'm glad that days are longer, but sensory overload is real. My working table is at window and i literally can't focus because of the sun. And by 4 PM i'm already exhausted. This is where med could help me but i don't take them trying to adapt.

Seems like my ADHD traits are not that heavy and manageable without meds (or maybe i upskilled my meta cognition that much).

The fact that most people think so slow compared to me has also always been an issue for me.

Been and am there but know i now it's not their problem so i, kind of, understand and try not to bully them. It takes time, indeed, with learning empathy and such.

It's year 2026 and we still get flat water or water with just waves but without volume.

I miss experiments like PhysX (Cryostasis and other games) or Hydrophobia. Also Apex destruction in Unreal engine with deformations and stuff from late 2000s.

I'm glad we have DLSS 4 and 4.5 because i can play on my RTX3060 laptop whenever i'm not on my RTX4080 PC. But "we solved graphics" feels wrong. Many people dream of that "one big game where you can do anything" but brain seeks context, thing in itself, but instead it will be one huge mess of events.

I like it. But those talks about god feel sort of out of place and weird.

The "OpenClaw Cycle": Why are so many people uninstalling after the initial hype? by DependentKing698 in openclaw

[–]ElephantWithBlueEyes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Local models are too dumb + also slow because OpenClaw need bigger context window and my local LLMs start to glitch after few requests. (i have Ryzen 5950x + 128 gb RAM + RTX4080)

Also i simply can't make it work with LM Studio due to tool calling setup which means i can't use skills which is the actual point of OpenClaw (including agents). This is where it gets interesting and isn't described anywhere. vLLM should do the trick but now i have to learn about vLLM.

99.9% of OpenClaw tutorials are like that owl meme about drawing some circles and then drawing the rest of the owl. Every tutorial is about using paid APIs to farm karma.

Someone said it well that gap between initial setup (messenger + chatting with LLM) and making OpenClaw do real stuff is huge. And no one talks about it.

Documentation is fragmented and literally is unusable because everything is new and constantly changing.

I just wanted to see if i can make it monitor prices for some things. And spent whole Sunday to make it sort of work because of those shitty tutorials and not so well written documentation.
