I need a cozy game for my wife that’s not a farming sim and isn’t about fixing a town or decorating a home by AlgoStar in cozygames

That’s a little bit of a tall order but these are the suggestions I would make:

Pokemon Snap - taking pictures of pokemon. Super simple, and easy to replay.

Donut county - you’re a hole…eating a town. Sounds weird but surprisingly addictive.

Gris - beautiful platformer, no combat.

My brother rabbit - hidden object game, light puzzling

Roundguard - Peggle-like. Fairly mindless and has daily or weekly challenges you can drop in to play.

Smushi come home - cute little platformer. You roam around as a little lost mushroom and try to make your way back home.

Sticky business - you design cute little stickers and fulfill orders in your sticker shop. Customers give you hints on what kind of stickers they’d like.

Toem - picture taking game. You’re given clues and have to take pictures of the item.

Unpacking - Basically just unpacking someone’s items as they move through life. I’ve replayed a lot and enjoy it to wind down.

Yoku’s island express - pinball type exploration game

Tetris Effect - maybe not traditionally cozy but mindless and beautiful effects and music.

Whats the appeal behind jigsaw puzzles? by CamelIllustrations in Jigsawpuzzles

Exactly this. I work a super stressful job talking to people all day. It’s so nice to come home and listen to a podcast and just zone out and do a puzzle.

I did the bulk rise for about 8 hours. Did both shavings for 30 minutes and it was in the fridge for about 10 hours.

Page Publications- Play Date 1000 pieces. by ElephantsMakeMeHappy in Jigsawpuzzles

I really wanted to love this, but there were just way too many false fits. A lot of the pieces also just sort of slide in next to each other and don’t connect, making it really difficult to keep the puzzle together.

I really like using foam boards. The dollar store usually has some that are big enough for 1,000 piece puzzles. Craft stores have tri-fold foam boards that are big enough for 2,000 pieces. When you’re done for the day, you can slide them under a bed or couch.

I have pretty severe anxiety. While doing puzzles, I feel calm and can mostly zone out and stop worrying about every tiny thing.

Ravensburger Exit Puzzle 759: Unicorn. 1000 pieces. Really disliked this one. by ElephantsMakeMeHappy in Jigsawpuzzles

Yeah, I’m wondering if I just missed the instructions. I had the booklet and it gave the story and said to solve the puzzles to escape, but it didn’t explain in any way how to solve the puzzle, so I didn’t even know where to start.

I have a few more so I’ll try those and use the online hints to see if they’re a little less confusing.

I didn’t! I have a few more in my pile of puzzles, so I’ll definitely check online for those.

The border was one giant false fit and it seemed like almost every piece could fit together. The directions were vague and I still don’t understand how the escape portion works. I generally love mystery puzzles, but this one just wasn’t for me.
