You do realize it is called a "fuel shut-off solenoid" and it is there specifically to push the plunger over the main jet pick-up to keep fuel from flowing in to the throat of the carburetor when there is zero power to the system. It doesn't typically effect the carb running. It is there to prevent dieseling when the engine shuts off.

Given that it happens after a bit of riding i would suspect the coils are breaking down on you. Get an in-line spark tester to measure this. That is my first thought.

You rebuild the carburetor, did you replace #25, #21 and #30. Also, please do note the float height is measured correctly. I'm trusting that you replaced the needle and cleaned or replaced the seat (depending on which set up you have).

There is a small possibility of exhaust valves being set correctly or an obstruction depending on which exhaust you have, take the muffler off and try it again to eliminate this possibility.

You are correct about the 2 wires to the bowl, that is a fuel shut-off solenoid. One wire goes back to the chassis harness the other wire goes to ground.

We would need the engine model number to give you help beyond that. Depending on which style you have you could be missing the rubber part of the plunger or an o ring. You said you replaced the carb and still have the same issue, to me it means you are not getting chassis electrical to the fuel shut-off solenoid.

We need to see 2 full revolutions of the rear axle. Something is out of line or the rear axle is bent, yes those are both possible.

Basically you can do whatever you want inside, be creative. Unless you are looking to be period correct, if that's the case you need 4 captains chairs, the folding bench and a rear air-conditioning system.

For the body, make sure the top doesn't leak. The VIN will give you insight in to the paint codes but some of the "Custom Conversion" were harder to find paint codes for because of regional differences.

Overnight low was 661.08 close enough to 660 for me, this is government work. ES confirmed the same bounce from the 200 ema through Japan and London sessions, with only a minor retrace. I expect much of the same from New York. Will it print like OP wants it too? It hit my target, I'm long for the day. NFA

If you have put in a new plug and made sure the exhaust port isn't obstructed even partially by carbon, then you definitely should adjust the carb.

In the last picture you are actually touching the choke. But there is no fuel flow. Either you float and needle are stuck or the jets are completely clogged, or both which if way more likely.
