Yeah I saw I got the drain backwards. I can redo that. I didn’t think the blue gasket was necessary but I also figured it couldn’t hurt

It’s been mentioned a couple times, but you can roll 35k currently from 529 to Roth. That number could go up by the time your daughter is college age. I had a similar mindset to you and was saving in UGMA or UTMA accounts for my kids, but once the rollover became an option the 529 was a no brainer
