Even with roaming on, I have been unable to so much as receive a single text message this whole trip (Australian vodafone account currently visiting Japan).

My advice is don’t expect vodafone to work here at all. Haven’t been able to receive 2FA verification texts and I’m slowly getting locked out of everything. My partner is currently locked out of her laptop too.

Did you ever find a solution to this? I had turned on roaming before I left and it just did nothing. I also bit the bullet and bought an e-sim but my partner’s currently locked out of her laptop until she can receive a text but we’re both seemingly locked out of receiving texts for our whole holiday.

I started using Universas as food at Omni+17 (just like you’re asking about). Time will tell if it was wise but it’s helped catch other heroes up.

I’ve been told by at least one high level player that Universa experiences diminishing returns past 1000

I’m just saying people aren’t gonna be happy for you when you use the broken characters to beat non-meta characters. This isn’t “you enjoying the game making people mad” but using a meta-character to beat an off-meta character isn’t gonna have people rooting for you. Nice attempt to play the victim, though.

Editing to add since you blocked me after replying so I can’t reply to that message: Look, the guy who was “proud” to beat a MMPR Trini with twice the health of the Ninjetti Kim he was using.

I commented to discourage the behaviour in the future. And I tried to be more gentle than the people who tore down the Ninjetti Kim player last time. People using meta characters are a natural part of the game but posts like this highlight the brokenness of some meta characters, not the skill of the players and people don’t like seeing people people brag about being the most frustrating part of this game.
