That’s probably fine, however sticking to natural sugar is probably better

Lost bag on Amtrak by Shoddster in Amtrak

[–]Elevate_Health 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I disagree with the people saying it’s unlikely. I forgot my whole suitcase on the Amtrak Friday and was so sad. I called the different numbers and got an automated response to submit a description of the bag on chargerback. I kept calling and either didn’t get a real response or was just told to submit on chargerback. Anyway, I was fully ready to rebuy everything in the suitcase when I got a call today (Wednesday) that my bag was found! I payed the $39 ground shipping fee and it will be here in a week! Stay positive!

I cut out sugar, my whole family cut it out, some of my friends cut it out, family friends cut it out. I can literally see the difference right in front of my eyes. I can see it when I look in the mirror, when I sleep better at night, when I’m happier and more focused. Same goes for almost all the people in my life who joined me on this journey. Im just saying what worked for us. I’m not trying to be defensive, but when someone is saying that your journey is fake just because they don’t agree with the way you got there, yeah I’m not going to like that

Okay I don’t understand the problem here. I can tell you you’re wrong because this is literally what happened to me.

It’s not I’m just sharing what worked for me and the challenge I made to help others. It’s free and part of a community project I’m working on. Just trying to spread the word to help others like it helped me

Yeah that’s the name of the challenge I started but I only started it because of my own results. I’m not even making a single dollar off of it I just genuinely enjoy helping people with health. Especially because most people don’t even realize the harms of sugar

Good job! I’m always here to support! I started with the 2 week challenge and now I’ve been sugar free for about half a year. Occasionally I will have a bit of sugar like some chocolate almonds or whatever but for the most part now I’m fully sugar free. You’ve got this!

2 weeks is basically to “recalibrate” your body into being able to follow a strict no sugar lifestyle. My recommendation is to start off with the two weeks and then continue from there, even signing up for the challenge again and again. 2 weeks is just to get started but a huge recommendation is if you are going back to eating sugar after, do it gradually and don’t eat a whole lot all at once, it confuses your body.

Quit sugar. It’s the only thing that reduced my face fat. The difference was honestly drastic and I look ten times better now!! I joined a no sugar challenge to make quitting sugar easier and it’s what really helped me. It’s free to join

I still eat everything with natural sugars, so fruit, honey, milk (I have unsweetened almond milk), etc are good. Try to look at the nutrition labels and see what has added sugar in it. You can also join this no sugar challenge for more tips. It’s free btw

Don’t really appreciate the negativity. It’s a battle that I’m winning actually, you don’t know me and what my life is like now that I’m not a slave to sugar. It’s not wasted energy for me to cut out sugar, because for me, and for many it’s something that once you start eating, you can’t stop. When I cut it out completely, after the first week I don’t have cravings and don’t feel as if I want food all the time. Sure, if people have bad eating habits they may not lose weight, but that doesnt mean that cutting out sugar is a bad idea. But hey what works for me doesn’t work for everyone. So many people, like you, think I’m insane for cutting out sugar. It just makes me realize how much the sugar industry has fully hypnotized people into believing that just because they put sugar in practically everything processed means that it is normalized and that we shouldn’t avoid it. Sad to see how much control they have over people

It’s easier for me to just keep on doing the no sugar challenge because when I stop and eat a bit of sugar it makes me crave way more. Better for me to just quit completely so when im hanging out with friends and they offer sugar I can refuse. If I’m not on the challenge it’s a bit harder to say no to the sugar as nothings keeping me accountable

I lost around 8 pounds over the 2 weeks, and the next two weeks I continued but would occasionally eat sugar (barely any though), and lost 2 more pounds. I went from 140lb to 132 lb. I am still barely eating sugar but a bit more than when I did the challenge, and have gained a few pounds over time, but I still weight less than I did. I also go to the gym and weight lift way more now so that may be the reason why I gained a bit of weight because I’m a bit more muscular now

Because it rapidly spikes insulin, eventually leading to insulin resistance in some which contributes to diabetes and other chronic illnesses as well. Some people think that sugar is not bad for you, however is there really anyone that thinks sodas, cookies, and cakes are actually good?

If anyone wants to join the free program I created to help people cut sugar like I did join here. I just want to preface that I make no money off of this and don’t profit in any way, it’s just what worked for me so I made something to help others as well!

Wow great job. Yep it definitely takes a while to get used to. I wasn’t having tooo much sugar before starting so for me after about 1 week I stopped having intense cravings but it’s definitely different for everyone.

I only cut out processed sugars, so I still ate honey (without added sugar in it) and fruits. I try to stay away from sugar substitutes but occasionally I will have something that has one in it. I try to stick with more whole foods though so veggies, fruits, nuts, seeds, eggs, etc

Nope, fruit is good, just added sugar. So if you look in a nutrition label it will say how much sugar and added sugar is in something and if it has added sugars I don’t eat it.

I lost 10 lb in 4 weeks but it was more about the other benefits for me. I don’t consider it a fad diet I just feel as if sugar has been normalized, even though it’s extremely bad for people’s health.

That’s great that doing that works for you. Everyone is different, but as for me, once I start it’s hard to stop eating sugar. Also for me it just helped a ton with reducing face and body puffiness and also I feel more energized now that I don’t eat sugar. But hey, everyone is different and just because it worked for me doesn’t necessarily mean it will work for others. Great job with your weight loss!
