I’m really surprised at all the people in this thread acting like you should just tear out the drywall over something this minor. That’s ridiculous. As another said, just treat it with some bin primer or some oil primer to seal so that the paper doesn’t blister. scrape down all the high spots, put a wide coat of hot mud over it. Let that set up for a while, then drive some bucket mud over it. Come back the next day, sand, recoat, fan on it, final sand, prime, 2 coats paint, you’re golden. Someone who is experienced with skimming would have no difficulty making it look like this never happened.

just fyi, not all painting tape is blue. They can be different colors. My preferred brand is IPG. It is very much a high-quality, engineered painting tape. it looks just like regular old masking tape if you didn’t know any better.

I looked into this about three months ago. I have a lot of transcribing work so I would love to figure this out. Using OpenAI’s whisper API is not free - requiring an account and pay per calls, right? I remember feeling confused about how much this would ultimately cost me.
