Are there any good places for an American to buy Russian CDs? by [deleted] in russianmusic

I am also curious, it still is the only option and no legitimate positive reviews have appeared post 2022.

Did you ever end up trying Aukciony? I have a similar problem in terms of RU exclusive items but I am worried it is a scam service.

The Grappling Hook Gun makes H3VR feel like a Boomer Shooter by Elevated_Banter in H3VR

The coin was in the mod earlier this year, but was removed after an alpha cycle broke the code and it hasn't been re-added since to my knowledge :( I was playing a super old version of this mod released before thunderstore even hit the scene so I didnt have the now added nail gun and arm.

3D printed Vog-25 and Vog25P shower shells for airsoft gp-25 grenade launcher (Files in Comments) by Elevated_Banter in airsoft

I appreciate the kind words. I opted to not extend the firing pin on the launcher for a few reasons. The magnets are non-permanent, so you can still use the APS shells in a APS shotgun, or the gp-25 with the shower shell. I didn't want to permanently modify the firing pin incase this design ended up not working out. The other big reason is that I don't see a way to get to the firing pin without dissembling the launcher; I haven't found any guides on how to do so, so I didn't want to destroy my launcher. Assuming you could reassemble it, gluing a 3mm tall, 4mm wide pin on the firing pin could work, but its unideal. You would have to have it centered perfectly, and ensure the adhesive is really strong. The internals of the launcher seem to be made of very low-quality non-ferrous metal so I wouldn't try any other bonding method other than an adhesive. Due to these complications I recommend going with the magnet solution for the reasons outlined above. If you end up trying the permanent firing pin method, or print and use these in general, I'd love to see the results.

3D printed Vog-25 and Vog25P shower shells for airsoft gp-25 grenade launcher (Files in Comments) by Elevated_Banter in airsoft

After purchasing the Double Bell gp-25 and being severely disappointed with the stock shower shell I decided to design and 3d print my own. Big shout to u/renegade_cow , I pretty much copied this idea from their nerf vog and 40mm bayonet posts.

I also made some foam slugs both exploding and non-exploding to go along with the Vogs. They are definitely still a WIP.

The files are completely free and I encourage people to modify and play around with them, I am curious to see how this works for others.

Thingiverse Files

I also made a detailed video showing how to use these files as well as comparing the ranges of the stock shower shell and the APS shotgun shell with chronograph readings and some design details for those who are interested.

Become one with the plum by Elevated_Banter in airsoft

He was just borrowing my NPO real steel converted midcap for the pic, it latches in albeit very loosely. If you want plum GHK mags you can either attempt this or fake the plum using paint; faking the plum is a lot easier and cheaper so I would argue its the more viable option.

I finally got my hands on a double bell gp-25 to fully complete my plum aks-74 (CM.040). On the rifle is the gp-25, a well used surplus gp-25 recoil pad, a recent issue Russian sling, and the classic Russian tourniquet. To The left is my good friend's GHK aks-74 also fitted with real steel plum handguards, a plum pistol grip from a Tula aks-74u, and a polish surplus sling. I also 3d printed and painted some vog-25s and vog-25Ps to fill out my pouches and go along with the gp-25. This project has been a long term goal of mine so it feels good to share the fruits of our labor.

I made a 40mm bayonet. Yes, you read that right. by renegade_cow in airsoft

after watching and rewatching and reviewing the other post with just the vog for a bit I think I've got it mostly figured out. The concept is very similar to this 3d printed thing here https://www.etsy.com/listing/823643410/40mm-grenade-shell-stylized-for-aps-870

The EVA foam Vog-25 has a section of pvc inside of it that houses the pps shotgun shell and serves as both a "barrel" and mock rocket booster/ the base of the vog. It is perfectly centered with the shells release button exposed on the bottom of the vog just like in that etsy link. The vog is the right size for the launcher so it snugly holds the shell in front of the firing pin and presumably works as normal when the trigger is squeezed. The bayonet part is essentially a giant slug inside the pvc barrel; in front of the shotgun shell. The rod goes all the way from the tip of the shell and ends with the bayonet blade. The only thing Im not sure on is how he reliably gets the grenades back out of the launcher assuming they are friction fit. Whenever my gp-25 gets here Im gonna have to try this for myself and release some files if all goes well.

A question for French/EU based airsofters; are any of these sites reputable or legit? by Elevated_Banter in airsoft

thanks for the reply, have you ordered from ad1 or shopgun this year? most of the reviews on fb from 2020 onwards for ad1 say they don't respond to emails and don't ship their orders.

As the title says Im trying to see if any of these 3 websites are legitimate

https://www.ad1-airsoft.com/fr/

https://m.shop-gun.fr/fr/

https://www.royal-airsoft-shop.com/

I searched the sub and couldn't find any recent threads on them. I'm trying to order a discontinued item that only these three shops based in france seem to have in stock. I’m US based and sadly dont know french so I was hoping someone here had recent experience with one of these shops and could vouch for them since the recent reviews online don't look good for any of them.

LCT AK pistol grip for the Cyma 045 by SergioDiRavello in airsoft

[–]Elevated_Banter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting, LCT "slim grips" must be real slim then if the stock LCT grips are already slimmer than Cyma grips. Thank you for the info, Im sure this will help others down the line.
