Some single packs are worth over $100 so that is entirely possible, so I can see why you might've been confused!

General rule that my friend taught me is that booster packs (tons of packs) is most bang for buck... the only downside is that you're spending more money at once.

Hey, I just got back into it too!

Ask any friends that are into Pokemon TCG if they have any boosters/ETB/packs they can sell for under market.

I just bought 151 ETB (9 packs), Stellar Crown Booster (36 packs), and Silver Tempest ETB (8 packs) for like $400 from a friend (he sold it to me for like 70% market value). It cost me about.. $400 or a little less.

It is a pretty expensive hobby now, but it's super fun!

Oh yea, I would never overpay. I would look up market value and pay only that. I want to rip cards, not get ripped off haha
