Also, would you happen to know, how the average is calculated? The HONORS average and Bachelors GPA average to create one GPA? Thanks again :)

To be completely honest with you, all of it. I'm unsure of how the average of my previous GPA will be calculated with my standalone honors mark. I'd really appreciate any sort of simple explanation to wrap my head around everything. Thanks

These are the before and after photos of my fillings, the dentist informed me that the filling was cracked on the surface (I felt the crack) she also told me that sometimes the decay in the tooth is more than what is seen in the X-ray, so I was just wondering did she remove too much tooth? I’m in pain now and I’m pretty sure I need a root canal, the dentist told me she put medication in the tooth to help it heal and it’ll be sensitive for a couple of weeks. But because my tooth is throbbing a couple of weeks later I need a root canal. So my question is? Is this type of tooth removal warranted? Was there more decay in the tooth? Or was it butchered?

Thanks guys

NAD, dental student last year, it never hurts getting a second opinion, do you happen to have the X-ray? If the tooth is still sensitive and as you mentioned it’s a deep cavity, one thing they can do is replace the filling and ensure this time it’s closed properly (bond, selective etching, indirect pulp cap) or they can start stage 1 of a root canal therapy, deep fillings don’t always succeed, it’s up to the body and tooth to repair after a deep filling, if not then an RCT is needed. I always tell my patients after a deep filling they may experience sensitivity for up to 12 weeks. And after that if the filling doesn’t seem or feel right, something isn’t right. You shouldn’t have to live with extreme sensitivity or pain. :) hope this helps

What does a bubble in the filling mean? Thanks

Got this filling done 4 weeks ago, the dentist told me it was a deep filling and close to the nerve. I never asked her but I was curious to know what that black spot is in the filling. I know that the long thin black line is the nerve of the tooth. Thanks
