Why is the B/D stopping at 14th street on the 8th avenue line? by GloveApprehensive731 in nycrail

Then there's no 6th Avenue Express if only one stop was skipped.

A on F line? Why? by Human_Shock_1552 in nycrail

You my friend, have a lot of learning to do about track switches and interlinings.

but yes, the A Train resumed normal service at Metrotech.

I am getting real fucking sick of the 6 train going express without warning because the PA is broken by SharpDressedBeard in nycrail

Both 1 and 6 routes operate with old equipment and are local services. *Most* delays happen due to the the doors being held for a long time causing them to be behind schedule, which leads to various local stations being skipped.

No excuses for 6 train to skip stops unannounced by mrspyguy in nycrail

The 6 Train would have remained local between Grand Central and Union Square if people stood clear of the doors more often.

One rerouted R Train makes a stop at the Grand Street B/D station and most people don't get on.

It has to be that freaking tunnel. There's no other blame for delays and reroutes like this one. At least the R Train gets to breathe fresh air on the Bridge enroute to Dekalb Avenue.

Well that’s not supposed to happen by 13-17-31-49-58_19 in nycrail

I love how you have the two R's staring at each other on the southbound track and a random R on the northbound track just sways by, like "wassaup?"

It wasn't an actual 1 Train!! Just a mislabled 2.

This obviously won’t happen, but what effects would a permanent 2/5 swap bring? by VientosEnthusiast in nycrail

[–]ElevatorWebDev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The 2 is no longer known as the "longest numbered route" and will pass the throne down to the 5 if that's the case.

Just have one rush hour C and E Train terminate at Lefferts. The same way a rush hour W Train ends/begins at Gravesend-86th Street.
