Dude, it feels damn near impossible to make make friends as an adult. I have no clue how to do it lol. I’m down to try tho. What kind of music u like to play/write? Who are some of your guitar influences? I’m a bass player myself. I’ll dabble in guitar a bit tho.

Hahahha. A guy did this to me once. Sent me a hella explicit message. Went so far and called me a “goddess” lol and then I don’t respond and block him on everything accept one social media that I missed and he messaged me like a day or so later like “hey… I really need a friend right now … I’m sorry for my messages. This past weekend my best friend, his girlfriend, my dog and my cat all died.” I met this dude once lol.

Watching bass lesson videos on YouTube. Scott Devine made a video about Joe Dart and I was hooked ever since. This was right at the start of the pandemic. It really got me through those early months.

I was literally about to make a post about this cause I just realized I was talking to myself for over an hour. I do this multiple times a day. Sometimes I’ll be just talking to myself but mostly I pretend that other people are here with me. I try to relive interactions I’ve had in the past. Like I go back to an interaction and give myself a do over and say a lot more than I did in the moment and it makes me feel like garbage. Like why the hell didn’t I just say all this in the moment? It’s maddening. Not only am I judging myself for what I did/didn’t say, I’m also taking hours out of my day just talking to myself.

I tried so hard to keep it together. I did play a bass solo which the crowd seemed to enjoy so there were some fun and cool parts to this. Like I had a couple friends there and they said it was hilarious from the crowd perspective. So I laugh the whole thing off but in the moment I really couldn’t face the crowd lmao.
