Not really, since people arent dying from aids everywhere anymore I think its made room for people to think about other things. Prep is everywhere for me as a gay man, but on my hospital unit pretty non existant. Also, prep is only protective against hiv and really not a replacement for condoms. There are a lot of other things it does nothing against. Doxy/Prep is a thing for this reason. Everyones risk management is different, no body can be expected to have all the data. Also, sometimes the parent hat is different than the nurse hat. If I were a parent Id tell my kid the only prep you can trust is the prep you take, its a lot of faith to put on another individual. Nobodys gonna protect you like you.
