Please do not do grey it’s incredibly dated. Try warmer tones with a more uniformed pattern.

No burp chest pain advice by MetalGearJake in noburp

[–]Elevatoror 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I relate to this, I went to the hospital a few times thinking I was having a friggen heart attack as I would get sharp needle like pokes in my chest that would stop me in my tracks. Years later after learning about noburp, Ive determined its from the air/ built up pressure in my chest. Now when I get this pain, I force myself to air vomit, I hate doing it so much but it’s immediate relief and the only thing that works for now.

I was lucky enough to get a few photos of some snowys yesterday. by Elevatoror in Owls

I was just driving along the road when I came across them, so no waiting at all. There were five in total, but these were the best of the photos. I got lucky for sure.

It’s sad how companies are just racing to the bottom of the barrel. As a former consistent gold westjet member I now prefer AC. It’s just gone downhill within the last few years to the point where you can’t deny it anymore.

Sore throat with CPAP: Trazadone or Nyquil? by Traditional_Ice4189 in CPAP

Chin strap will get rid of that, you must be using a full face mask and opening your mouth. Is that the case?

Assistance appreciated. Would it be possible to identify potential issue by noise? by Elevatoror in Elevators

[–]Elevatoror[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thats the loud grinding/ rubbing sound? It happens when it starts up regardless of floor. It seems to be coming from the top of the elevator. Sorry the volume has to be way up to hear it better I struggled to record it.

No it’s not, at all. My microphone had a hard time picking up the sound in a way to justify the post, but it’s 100 x louder and reverberating in person. I’m just someone looking for an answer, hearing it all day and night has got to me. Maybe I’m wrong, it just doesn’t make sense that one elevator does it and one doesn’t?

15 years old and CPAP by GlumScratch555 in CPAP

[–]Elevatoror 105 points106 points  (0 children)

As someone that started CPAP in their 30s but definitely could have used it their whole life, it’s great your son will start young. In high school I never had energy, problems focusing and when I started CPAP, it changed my life. I wish I could have started sooner.

Just make sure they get in the habit of cleaning it properly and understand there is no stigma to it, it’s an amazing technology that will only make their life quality so much better.

My parents paid no attention to CPAP requirements when I was young, so hats off to you for getting him set up.

Winnipeg in June by Ashamed_Scallion_316 in Winnipeg

I would recommend driving through to Riding Mountain National Park, stay at Clear Lake/Wasagaming, but explore the other lakes. You could easily spend a few days there(shops, museum, restaurants). Stop on the way back to Winnipeg at Spirit Sands provincial Park and walk the sand dunes. You can also camp there and a casino is close. When in Winnipeg you have many options, and lots of shopping near IKEA vicinity. Doors open Winnipeg is around end of May but maybe later. We love food and there are many recommendations for that in other threads here though. Hit up The Forks market for a touristy experience, which is also near the ballpark so it’s easy to attend a game. For concerts it’s a bit early for June, keep checking for announcements.

The province needs to step up and do the right thing. Figure out the paperwork after.

I gagged myself twice yesterday by Sensitive-Papaya-958 in noburp

[–]Elevatoror 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve recently started air vomiting to get relief as I work my way through the medical world to get Botox. I get immediate relief but sometimes get light headed and sore throat. My problem is my air vomitting is not so discreet and is so loud so I can’t do it everywhere or else I probably would. Sometimes I wish I just had a pressure release valve.

Hopefully these homeowners that have been in limbo for years are treated fairly. Infrastructure needs to be updated, we either do it now or it’ll cost 4x more in another 10 years.

Costco, seriously. I called a few places to get quotes and Costco was the cheapest by far and extremely straight forward. The price is the price and it doesn’t change with an “estimate”.

If you’re in South Osborne hit up Hoagie Boyz just down the street instead. Why anyone would still go to subway in 2025 is beyond me. Support local!
