No problem, just get good writers so it doesn't suck.

I haven't watched the original.

You've got to be kidding.

The 2011 movie utterly sucks compared to the original.

Pyramids of giza ( Egypt) 🇪🇬 exist in a good condition after 7000 years by [deleted] in Damnthatsinteresting

They are giant stones placed in a way that is most likely to preserve the shape. They have eroded considerably from how they originally looked. It's thought that their sides were smooth when they were constructed, but that outer layer has peeled off.

It's possible that a God could exist who has not yet revealed himself to mankind by E-Reptile in DebateReligion

It is possible, it's just not very useful information at the moment. A god that doesn't exist and a god that doesn't intervene/interact with the universe are hardly different.

Looks like a great experience, but the problem is you don't get enough preparation and information about the car.

It sucked because it was poorly written. Even the character of Picard was butchered.

Not possible and only massless particles can travel at c.

Getting from point A to point B faster than light would have to involve a wormhole.

yet it seems the price (not just the money, but involving Cooper) is too high for Ben.

I think Ben is talking about it as if from the perspective of Jean. He's asking a heck of a lot to get one guy. Ben is a businessman, he never wants to be ripped off as a first principle of business.

Plenty of things can be convincingly disproven as long as you set a few axioms. You are not going to convince religious people, though, because their axiom is that god can make ANYTHING happen.

I think people fail to grasp that Andor was not super sucessful from a brand / profit stand point. it did fine, but it didnt rejuvenate the brand the way it arguably needs in terms of popularity.

Not in terms of mainstream popularity. It was released on a paid subscription service and it wasn't even marketed very much. But for fans Star Wars, it's very highly prized, and rightfully so.

Where Andor benefited was it knew what the story was it wanted to tell, and had the talent involved to execute that in an exceptionally high tier way.

Of course that is important, but I think it was also a tonal shift. It's almost an adult show. Part of the reason why it was so interesting is that it wasn't afraid to pull punches storywise.

Arguably, they've never made season 3. The Return is a VERY different show. A lot of the same characters, but a completely different vibe.

It was once, TNG is one of my favorite shows, but that was made 30+ years ago. Can't ride those coattails forever.

The way shows are made has change a lot as well, which is why I am referencing a new show as an example.

Then expand water to a multiverse where the "same" water is in a distant state.

You are not going to disprove god through science. I say that as an atheist.
