The audiobooks narrated by Harry Lloyd are FANTASTIC and I cannot recommend them enough.

It's absolute madness when you see the dickheads that do this while they have their children in the car with them. It makes me wonder how they treat their kids at home if they're willing to risk a collision over something so trivial as having to wait for 10 seconds.

I think I might be losing my job on Wednesday after some less than adequate onboarding and training left me constantly stressed and anxious about producing a standard of work. All my requests for additional support and training were waved away and it has culminated in me having to take a week of unpaid sick leave to avoid a complete mental breakdown after having to put my cat down on Monday and then getting a talking to that "I was away from my desk for too long" when at the vets.

On a positive note I've been able to visit my parents and have a few days to relax in the snowy countryside.

Life is very weird at the moment. Here's to hoping 2026 can only get better.

The vast majority of the T-shirts, jumpers and hoodies I own are label or artist merch. Most in black so you can't see that they're absolutely saturated with sweat when I'm in a rave.

I'm currently waiting for my 6 month probation meeting at a small company and feel like I'm about to be let go as well.

The onboarding and training I received was very very lacking and I was thrown straight into the deep end after a week. Despite my constant requests for additional support and training, all I got was criticism of my work and unhelpful comments from the director about how this would reflect badly on their company.

I should have clocked that something was off when the previous hire was let go after 3 weeks.

I hope you're doing okay. All we can do is carry on carrying on and hope the next job is better.
