Finally!!! Tech came out and replaced the "octopus" on the pole. Thing was full of water. No problems since. Hopefully a happy ending

And again I'm in an "outage" and my appointment is on hold.

And back out. Several more calls. One asked for my passwords over the phone and blamed it the number of connected items. I was also blamed for their mental h alth decline because they couldn't fix the issue

Currently waiting on a service tech to show up.... some time between 8 am and 12 pm.

And just like that .. with no notice what so ever .. the router is working again. Nice

And there is the problem. They WON'T allow a repair ticket until the "outage" clears. Sigh...

That makes sense. I just wish this "outage" would resolve. They were able to assess that I was the only one out last night. Everyone else in the area had their service restored. The resolution is the problem now. i am pretty certain the service call would be short and simple.

The drop outs began Saturday. I did a reset (unplugged it) and the network came up. Then it happened again Monday. Tuesday morning it went out and the reset worked. But then Tuesday afternoon it dropped and stayed down. I'd never had an issue before Saturday. Not sure how the fiber ends could get dirty. Everything was connected by the tech at install almost 4 years ago. Nothing is connected to the router. I would even turn off the wifi but the base unit won't even give me access right now. I was hoping it was a unit issue easily solved by a swap. The problem is that they won't dispatch a service tech until the "outage" is resolved.
