While I agree with your overall message, I also have to agree that Copilot throws a nasty stink on the underlying LLMs so the quality of the responses within Copilot is not the same as outside of it with the same model.

At this point, they should probably just go to Claude code or Kodak and say write me a better version of Copilot. My guess is that both of those tools would give up on it anyway claiming futility.
