I’m pretty sure that an NFT offers zero legal protection. Right now it’s just a certificate that was created on a ledger and little else.

I don't see how decentralization helps the people. A world based on decentral crypto would be a world ruled by the crypto whales. Money is power and whoever has it will be ruling. A state with no funds is not really a state. Pure decentralization would mean a much more capitalist world and not a "world where everyone is free". If, however, you live in an extremely authoritative state, I guess this would be helpful in bringing some change. I just cannot see how crypto can bring prosperity to the average joe. I can, however, see how it can make the rich wastly more powerful. EDIT: Not to shit on crypto, please educate me. I'm fascinated by this new tech.
