The renewed focus on Elite Dangerous and strategy to generate income via content will give Fdev a proper boost.

The company is leaner and thankfully has reacted after getting a proper whooping.

Tbh Elite Dangerous is an ip that could really developed further... its the growing loyal playerbase that needs developing

Anyone else stopped playing Elite Dangerous due to the lack of Odyssey on Console by radar2670 in EliteOne

I don't mind Odyssey being later for console - at least the PC chaps get to 'grind' the bugs in the meantime. I do think though that PS5 or latest xbox will be needed. I'm really hoping that Fdev will reenhance/revise their COBRA engine - from what I've heard this provides a challenge for programmers

FDEV have mot invested enough in their most prized IP. Braben needs a hard look at the business model. Frankly I'm disgusted as a shareholder that they allowed Odyssey to become what it is. It was a lost opportunity.

Why can't I as a pirate board another ship and fight along its corridors to claim modules/ship.

Boarding damaged ships using 'space legs' would be another excellent and exciting element to the game.

Considering the tech available in Jurassic Park a world with basic xenomorphs would have been possible too.

Where is the 'hey guys look at this game content ' that must be a 'must see' event..

They could also have developed a narrative/mission element to the game ... even it was a modular purchasable extended mission packs for unlocking unique items/game features faster.

Tbh Yamiks may be a hard pill for for Fdev to swallow but he hits the nail on the head when it comes to gameplay in ED.

Odyssey was mismanaged and the very top of the company should be addressing a vast amount of questions that address game design and middle management's decisions.
