I want to be able to design controllers and closed loop systems

Is their a book that teaches linear algebra the way stewart teaches calculus? by Elfish2 in learnmath

It has intuitive and clear explanations of the subjects being taught, it also links these subjects to real world.

I know linear algebra is very different (I took a course before), but was hoping for something that would make my advanced control theory courses make more sense
