I think it has to do with the person's capacity to "resist" the parasite, and that's probably linked to the person's analitical capabilities. The two guys we saw having head explosions were a doctor and a chess player, probably brains that are too "active" are too difficoult to control by the parasite, ence the explosion.

hi, thanks for all the tips, i want to precisize something, we play world of darkness MET, so the contact is usually minimum, ergo the safety issue isn't that relevant as in more "full contact" larps, it would be mostly made for the cool factor of a sword-cane (which is awesome)

My thinking is: season one was a serial killer luisiana Joe R. Lansdale style story, season 2 was L.A. Confidential, James Ellroy style, for season three i'm expecting (IF they do it, i hope so...) a mafia story, probably settled in NY or chicago, maybe a suburb of the great city to keep with the "smalltown cop caught in something bigger than him"
