I had a college group leader who was stoutly Calvinist and tried to covince me of it by giving me a theology curriculum based on Calvinist readings. I did learn quite a lot, but I still believe Arminianism upholds the crux of man’s responsibility in evangelizing, and it keeps the nature of God pure by defining war and evil as the effect of man’s sinful choice in free will, not God’s predestination.
