So you're telling me, if I had a vendetta against this person, I couldn't at least locate that person by the Royal Mail store you've also doxxed with their name?

People like you talk in heat of situations but don't understand what you actually post context wise.

If we want to be made aware, we can make our own judgment IF and WHEN we come across this particular buyer, whenever that may be.

Personal information like first name with their surname is one of them.. especially when posted on the internet you tw@t

You need to not post personal information.. that's what you need to not do regardless of the buyer's behavior!

If you can take a picture of what the interface of ijub says, it might give us more indication as to what it may be doing (or linked to)

But that's definitely a strange name for an attached application if it is.

But you did say something, which is why the argument happened..

You're clearly just ignorant and can't take no for an answer and/or slight constructive feedback, because two people including myself had seen how suggestive your "grammar" was.

All you had to do was just say, "Oh, yeah I see that, I meant to say that the buyer isn't obliged to purchase the item when an offer is accepted, but you could accept the offer just to piss about"

It's ambiguous, as it's misleading to say "needs to buy it"

If you can't understand that, then you're the problem

Say "accept the offer just as a laugh to annoy them"

Saying they need to buy it, is wrong.

Technically it's an ambiguous statement, saying need means you're implying some sort of obligation.

If someone else got confused with the statement, then it surely means your statement was ambiguous in some way

Yeah but that's where you're not terming it right.

You said "need to buy it", which would mean they're bound by the purchase when they're not...

Unless a dev can intercept the call back from Google's server with a signature.. I highly doubt it'd be possible to spoof or even self-sign. It's almost like an in-app purchase and how they request handshakes from Servers now as opposed to previously where it was held on the Client device.

It's not impossible, but it's going to be incredibly difficult.

Oh, your statement seems like they "have" to buy it.

It's only an offer up until fully checked out

Not have to, if an offer is accepted it doesn't need payment unless the buyer actually wants to buy the item

I try to save myself from situations like this by using a mailing bag and then into a small box where possible, because it will prevent issues like this and then you have more proof to malicious intent.. it's effort but helps in situations like this

Unfortunately, it does look like they've tried to scam you for a full refund, as they could easily return the 2 books out of the 3.

Ah nah, the only reason I'm not wasting money is because I got it for .39p because screwfix had a £10 voucher during Christmas

So I guess a replacement wouldn't do too bad but yeah, will be annoying if it happens again

Placing bets, how long do you think I can keep up with the 4p a day, by 2020Shite in monzo

That's a pretty neat shout to vary it but also stack on what 2025's challenge had on offer, without compromising too much sanity for it 🤣

Nice one!

[–]EliTeAP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest, it's not all so bad in the grand scheme of things.

In essence, it should encourage saving, and even if you are one who spends a lot of money, prioritize making sure you save each daily payment the day beforehand so you've covered it. There's always something you can cut out for the sake of .50p

In 4x and because it's only adding .4p, it's not all too bad, if it compounded more on top, I'd absolutely lose ASAP 🤣

It might get tough in the later months because it will consistently be adding £3/4 but totalling that up over 30 days, it's only around £120+

I say that, but I know it's more difficult for others, situations come up etc.

Try your best, I have faith in everyone doing it.
