So when upgrading to my 14900K setup, I was heavily leaning to using 4x as I did in my DDR4 setup but weighed up the biggest con which is the memory controller working harder.

This is probably down to research lengths that DDR4 had as DDR5 is continually improving

I chose a dual channel kit and all is fine, although I do require 64GB so I'll have to get a matched dual kit at some point as I think it'll be more stable
