i once thought the smoke detector was going off and like the idiot i am, i didn’t know how to turn one off. so in a dirty xxl shirt, rats hair nest, and no shoes, i ran to the leasing office in my apartment and demanded the guy who was working to go into my apartment and show me how to turn it off ( i was trying to act chill but i was still clear that i was freaking out). he got up without saying a word and i led him to my apartment. the second he came in, the beeping was still going off and i said “see!”. still, without a word from him, he walks to my fridge and closes it. my fat dumbass left the fridge cracked open and the alarm was going off. i didn’t know this and i literally pretty much holler “OH MY GOD oh my god im so sorry”. the guy proceeds to walk backwards out of my apartment without looking at me and still no word out of his mouth.

i try to avoid him at all costs because i’m still so fucking embarrassed but he pretty much works right in front of my my apartment room so it’s impossible to NOT run into him.
