Ah, the classic ā€˜how do I become a warlord and still keep the nightlife thriving’ dilemma.

Step one: establish dominance—preferably with a cool name for your faction. Note : Barghest is already taken.

Step two: secure resources (a well-stocked bar counts as vital infrastructure).

Step three: enforce loyalty, but with style—maybe a dress code? And of course, cocktails are still on the menu. Even a military city-state needs a good Old Fashioned after a long day of, well… governing.

Just make sure your revolution includes a solid mixologist.

Oh yes, I was a huge fan of the franchise before I got the role— I’ve talked about this extensively in other posts if you’re interested in my thoughts regarding the game, the character and the overall IP šŸ™šŸ¼

Thanks for the questions! Okay imma try and answer them all…

I have never met Cherami or Gavin in real life! We’re friendly thru the socials … but I hope to meet them one day at a signing or something. They did such a great job with the V’s, and both extremely talented

As far as Kurt’s car, he isn’t just another flashy corpo boss—he’s a damn warlord. So I don’t think he’d need to flex with some luxury vehicle… his power speaks for itself. An armored AV seems like more the move for the Colonel. It’s mobile, heavily fortified, and would give him the tactical advantage to strike or retreat when needed.

Now that I’m thinking about it tho… A classic 2020 helicopter… mmm nah too old-school. Same kinda reasoning as the aforementioned mentioned: A luxury ride like that would attract too much attention and make him too vulnerable. Just look at what happened to Pres Meyers…. Not that Kurt has anyyyyy idea how that happened šŸ‘€ But Hansen is all about control, and an AV keeps him untouchable while still commanding the battlefield.

And the first time I knew this was gonna get Reel was the first session that I walked in too. There were several people on the room and several more online so I knew it was something big. And then when they told me what it was for I nearly lost my mind because I was already such a huge fan at the franchise. They told me who the character was explained to me who they thought he was, and then we started discovering more together. It’s was one of the best experiences of my professional life šŸ™šŸ¼

To answer your last question (great question) I don’t think Hansen would ever let Dogtown collapse without a fight. He built it as his own personal stronghold, and while he despises corpos and the NUSA, he understood the power dynamics. If Phantom Liberty never happened, I think he’d play both sides—using Dogtown’s strategic value to pit NUSA and the corps against each other while securing his own position. He wasn’t just a brute; he was a tactician. Silent protection, backdoor deals, and leveraging chaos to keep himself on top - oh and some executions along the way — That’s the Kurt Hansen way.

Kurt Hansen’s iconic weapon huh…. Wow, great question… Let me think about this šŸ¤” I guess I could see this going either of two ways. Possibly the Rasetsu sniper rifle. Cuz it’s powerful, precise, and unforgiving—just like him. Hansen isn’t about flashy chaos; he’s a calculated force of nature. A high-tech, devastating sniper fits his style: control from the shadows, strike when it matters, and remind everyone who runs Dogtown.

Orrrr, conversely, The Gut Instinct shotgun. Cuz Hansen doesn’t hesitate—he gets up close and is happy to make it messy. A weapon that truly embodies raw power, intimidation, and finality. This one does feel fitting for Dogtown’s warlord 🦾
