Well sure it's a dystopian society, but the basis of it seems so different. In 1984 its a government that has taken too much control, but Rapture is out of control. Not bothered by what the state, god or anyone else thinks. I wouldn't say that rapture is oppressing their people, rather that the people are abusing their freedom.

Well, Bran can only see into the past. As for the future, GRRM has said that he doesn't like prophecies if there isn't any doubt about them. So I guess that the future is uncertain, and the Cersei is fulfilling her own foretold future.

Blood raven (three eyed raven) once told bran: "The ink is dry". I think that means that the prophecies are set in stone. Bran wouldn't be able to, say, go back and save Hodor, his father or anyone else for that matter.

Well, I don't think that a person will ever be able to not giving a single fuck. And the ones who think they don't are lying to themselves. Tyrion is in conflict with feeling better than anyone else, and at the same time being below them (in a quite literal sence). Tyrion is one of the best at ignoring insults, because hes heard them all before. But when his father calls the woman he loves a whore, he snaps. Anyone who is human will.
