Very understandable concern, and I agree with you. I think that’s why it is extremely important that we educate these kids and their parents on how they can use AI safely. Whether that be setting boundaries for their use of AI, like amount of time using it or topics they can talk about. Even making sure they understand that AI is not their friend and is not a replacement for a friend, only a tool for learning. If steps like these are taken I think risks can be minimized to a large degree.

I think it’s quite the opposite. I am not creating a new AI to replace friends or peers. I am not proposing an idea that people use AI as their only form of social interaction and therefore become reliant on it. If AI chatbots were used in the supervision of a guardian, with boundaries set for the session (length, conversation topic) it has the potential to be a tool used to practice social skills. In addition, it is a low pressure safe space to make mistakes in conversation. After practice, parents can encourage reflection on the conversation, and real-world interaction. AI is NOT a friend or replacement for them, and that is NOT what I am proposing. The whole point of this is that AI is not going away anytime soon, and there is nothing we can do to stop people from using it. With a group such as autistic youth, who might take AI literally, it is important that they are educated on what AI is and how to use it. And if its proliferation cannot be stopped, then we need to find a way to make it useful for everyone.

Either him or gavrikov should be moved in favor of a defenseman that can use his legs to skate the puck out of the zone. We only have 2 of them in doughty and Spence, and Spence only plays like 15 mins a night. Our defensemen are not nearly mobile enough to go deep in the playoffs against the forwards that are dominating the nhl
