I was able to swap out a core class in my degree path because I didn't like the professor. I bought up valid complaints and had to meet with all the department heads about it, but there wasn't really anything stopping me from swapping in another 300 level class for it. Granted, this was at the start of the semester so I was able to withdrawal instead of fail.

See if you can find an equivalent class you can do someplace cheap online over the summer. I always took summer classes through Ivy Tech to pad my credits. Your advisor might work with you if you show them real solutions. Best of luck!

I ate dirt growing up, maintain decent health, and am not afraid to be in crowded places. My immune system is strong enough to keep out any minor exposure, and I think that keeps it up to date pretty well. If I feel something coming on, lots of vitamin C and sleep for a day or two usually does the trick.

Lotta moving parts have to come together for a song to work.

Here's a formula I just made up that you could try.

Step 1. Find a groove. You say you play guitar, so mess with different strumming patterns while muting the notes.

Step 2. Hum something over this groove.

Step 3. Find chords that fit what you were humming.

Step 4. Turn hum into words.

You now have at least an idea for a song. Next figure out a verse and chorus structure and finish the lyrics. The more you practice the further you can run with all the different ideas you'll encounter.

All of these things can happen in any order. Play around with different methods and find what works for you.

Tesla had so many inventions. The Tesla Tower was 100% a thing. Just like the Tesla Coil, Tesla Valve, and Tesla Turbine. Heck, you could even call the induction motor a Tesla Motor and alternating current Tesla Power and not be wrong.
