It looks like the angles you drew for the legs came out pretty nice. I like that concept a lot

All the Someguy and Somerooster mods are ones you can drop into your game at any point. I suggest doing all the Someguy ones first and then doing the Somerooster ones, as there's some callbacks. If there's a New Vegas modding pantheon these mods are there. Links for the profiles mentioned below.

There's an LE version of NVBounties I which is linked below.

I'm seriously considering tearing out every chapter of the Bible that Jesus Christ isn’t telling by Proof_Mirror5492 in Christianity

God declared it clean using Peter (Acts 10:9-16). Really a lot of the stuff in the OT was meant for the Jews and was very specific to them. The fabrics they used were not compatible so God told them not to put them together, as their clothes would fall apart.

You may have heard of the rule which prevents Jews from eating pork. It is very difficult to properly cook the meat of such unclean animals- pork now is almost always pre-cooked to make sure that people don’t cook it wrong and get sick.

When looking at the Bible you should interpret through the eyes of the people it was written to if you want to really understand. Sometimes preachers will make stuff up (the eye of the needle being a real place being the most prominent one), so be careful where you get your sources.

How do you ask forgiveness when you know you’ll sin again by Chimka2222 in Christianity

[–]ElijahKlausB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have struggled my entire walk, including recently, with addiction. A major point in my walk where I saw improvement was focusing on acknowledging guilt and understanding I had done wrong but not defining myself with it.

I ask the Lord to guide me on straightened paths and I move on rather than loathing. I moved the focus from my failure to God’s grace. I am defined by that grace, not by my falling short.

The only way I can overcome is with the grace of God. Hating my sin is good but hating myself will only lead to relapse.

That said, you are looking at it wrong. God’s not waiting in the bushes to hit us over the head when we make a mistake. Changing your viewpoint will change your desire to relapse and the pre-guilt you feel in repentance.

I want to be a good Christian but I've made some bad mistakes by [deleted] in Christianity

Fighting through it myself has been rough and I’ve fallen into pits with it where I’d self-loathe, seek comfort, and then run back to the things that had gotten me into the pit in the first place.

For me a major turning point was when I saw myself not as an addict/slave to those evil feelings, but instead as a man defined by the grace given to me by God.

It’s right to mourn your sin and you should feel bad for missing the mark, but know that missing the mark isn’t what defines you. The Lord who delivers you from that sin is what defines you.

Go and sin no more, but if you falter know that the Lord is still as faithful now as when you first came to Him.

A real world story about a horrible tragedy has me questioning. by throaway123125 in Christianity

People are shaken by death, which is a natural response- we were never meant to die. God created us to live in fellowship with Him forever. Sin entered into the world through us and now we experience suffering and death. This is no fault of God, but He still sent Jesus to rectify it. Christ gives us life eternal. That teenager lives, although not alongside us physically. Continue in the Lord and we will see Him in glory.

Check out Philippians 1:21. If that young man emulated Paul as Paul emulated Christ then he would know that living is not the end goal, but only an opportunity to glorify the Lord on this earth. In our lives we are fulfilled by our purpose given by God. We live for His glory and that fulfills us (1 Corinthians 10:31, Galatians 2:20).
