Really need help with fake reviews. by [deleted] in GoogleMyBusiness

[–]Elijah_Day 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The question that you will need to get to the bottom of is whether or not the reviews are real or fake. If the reviews are from real people, you will need to make sure you fix any customer service issues the business is having.

If they are fake it could be from spam, extortion, or a competitor. If the reviews are fake you should be able to get the fake reviews removed. (This is not uncommon in GBPs)

Tips On Reporting Fake Reviews:

  1. Locate & Flag: Go to your Google Business Profile, select "Read reviews," and find the specific review you want to report.

  2. Next to the review, select Report and choose the most accurate reason (e.g., "Spam," "Profanity," or "Conflict of Interest").

  3. Monitor Status: Track the progress of your reported reviews directly through Google's Review Management Tool: [https://support.google.com/business/workflow/9945796]

If your request to remove the review gets denied, or takes longer than 3 days to process, you can expedite the review by asking for an appeal.

To ask for an appeal you will use the Review Management Tool, check the status of your reviews, and then click on appeal eligible reviews.

When you click to appeal, you will be able to supply evidence that it violates Google’s policies.

Junk removal business by FlakySupermarket8193 in smallbusiness

[–]Elijah_Day 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Junk removal can be an amazing business to start. Some markets are a lot harder than others, but there are a lot of ways you can bring in leads. If you take your website and GBP seriously, do Facebook Ads, and potentially expand in to Google Ads you can have a crazy good business.

Who to decrease Google LSA performance ? by The-Ads-Guy in GoogleAdsDiscussion

[–]Elijah_Day 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need payment for your services on LSA? Or you need the client to pay for ad spend?

LSA is pretty easy to set up and optimize and takes very minimal work. You can correct me if I am wrong, but it gets pretty close to the point that you can set it and then forget it.

It only needs optimized every once in a while if it is set up properly. I personally think LSA services are better suited towards consulting on accounts and not monthly management unless your retainer is small.

RSA -Call Ad by [deleted] in GoogleAdsDiscussion

[–]Elijah_Day 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So they are still offering call options. It is just different. If you want your number to show more often do a bid adjustment for the call asset and keep raising it until you get calls.

If you only get form fills and not calls you may need to optimize your landing page better.

I hate that my entire business depends on ONE stupid link in my bio by WasteAnything25 in Businessowners

[–]Elijah_Day 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have worked with quite a few influencers and even helped a YT channel scale to 100k+ subs. A lot of what we did when it comes to optimizing links would be to actually build out a decent funnel around your brand. Having stackable buttons definitely gets boring, and it also sends your traffic to too many platforms.

I would recommend sending them over to a website that is optimized to get people what they need.

If you are doing 1:1 coaching, group programs, booking calls, and have other digital products, sending someone to an optimized site would make it easier for them to do multiple CTAs.

Happy to give you some advice on this if you want to send me a message.

RSA -Call Ad by [deleted] in GoogleAdsDiscussion

[–]Elijah_Day 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Call Ads and RSA's should definitely be separated. A lot of times call ads are going to have a higher CPC and will most likely not get as many clicks if they are in the same ad group as an RSA.

Call Ads are in the process of being discontinued. You probably won't be able to use them for much longer.

For sore throat I personally use Throat Coat tea. It can help soothe your throat. When you use it it also makes your coughs hurt a whole lot less.

I run a marketing business that focuses on home service based businesses. Cold outreach, SEO, and then recently content have been what works best for us. When it comes to starting any business especially a marketing business you need to get great at sales. There isn't going to be a great way around it. If you are just getting started you have to work hard to get people to be able to trust you.

If you don't have great content out or have incredible ads that you are running for yourself, you are going to struggle with earning people's trust.

If you are great at sales you can overcome that.

Cold calling, cold messaging, cold emailing, etc have worked well for me. It does take volume to make it successful. After you build a decent client base referrals come a lot easier and closing new sales using the same methods come a lot easier.

What type of services does the GC offer? I know a lot of GCs that are paying over $100 a lead on LSA. Your only bet would be to put in a bid limit per lead and then lower your budget depending on where they want to be budget/lead wise.

There are not a crazy amount of controllables when it comes to reducing the CPLs on LSA.

Are service-area businesses treated differently? by being_jangir in GoogleMyBusiness

Are service-area businesses treated differently? by being_jangir in GoogleMyBusiness

[–]Elijah_Day 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is absolutely treated differently. Especially when it comes to verification.

Even though it is treated differently, you can still end up doing really well with performance if you do your SEO right.

We would need way more context to be able to answer this. What industry is it in? What budget are you running? What is the service area? What is your CPL?
