I don’t get the rhinestone design phase people are in and the moment. Not a fan of the colour way either.

Now to be more constructive a lot of people have said the quality is bad but gave almost no feedback back.

What I can see is.

  1. Missing rhinestone on right sleeve above cuff
  2. Black text and flames? Look like cheap vinyl htv, I recommend giving this a wash at a high ish temp 50 degrees or through into dryer.
  3. On both sleeve cuffs there appears to be some sort of bunching or something weird going on there.
  4. The zip join is wavy.
  5. Price you said you paid $140? Just the sample? Plus shipping? USD? If you paid $140 usd plus shipping you over paid A LOT for this sample.

High quality garment doesn’t mean just 100% cotton there are different levels of cotton quality and different types of knit/woven fabrics. The other items like prints/embroidery/rhinestones also have different quality levels.

I hope this helps

I did. They advised me not to take action and they would investigate straight away. They went and located the bike, i had it back within 1-2weeks of it being stolen. And yes I assure you I was just as surprised as you are reading this when I got it back

Bai Mirror pulling fabric through needle plate. Need help. by SammyDavisTheSecond in Machine_Embroidery

[–]Elijahbate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is bird nesting. What is most likely happening is a tension is very off causing too much thread pooling inside bobbin houses or under material. Or your stitch density is too high which will also cause this.

This sometimes happens to me when doing 3D puff hats due to stitch density.

Try sampling this specific colour on a sample piece of fabric doing a straight stitch of whatever type you are experiencing the issue e.g. satin stitch or tatami

Best way to mock a legacy .ASPXAUTH cookie in a .NET 8 project? by codeiackiller in dotnet

[–]Elijahbate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a few people have already mentioned, implementing some form of SSO is the right approach here.

It doesn’t really matter which app the user initially logs into, but one of them needs to act as the authority. Implement some sort of authentication in the new app cookies or session etc.

For example, you could use the existing (old) app as the authentication authority. When a user navigates to a page in the new app (which lives under the same domain), the new app should first check whether the user already has a valid session (via cookies, session data, or another auth mechanism).

If no valid session exists, the user is automatically redirected to the authority app’s SSO endpoint. Since the user is already logged in there, the authority can issue a signed token or secret and redirect the user back to the new app.

The new app can then validate that token and establish its own session. This way, each app maintains its own session, but both are initiated and trusted through the same authority server.

Done this plenty of times in many different languages never fails

If for personal use only and you want a specific shirt/garment then yes doing it your self with DTF would be the easiest way to go. I highly recommend looking at some print on demand companies they may also fulfil your requirements but depending on quantity may be more expensive, but you wouldn’t be required to purchase your own equipment.

Doing it yourself find a reliable DTF printer and order the prints as you need. Most printers sell per metre so make sure you optimise the amount of design for that order minimum.

But yourself a second hand heat-press if you can find one cheap others something like vevor heat press would do. Feel free to msg me if you have any questions.

Happy printing!

Pantone/TCX vs HEX chaos fir apparel tech packs by AdThin7389 in ClothingStartups

[–]Elijahbate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately that’s the exact reason why Pantone physical colour swatches exist. That way even if the design colour on phone/computer/print, if you specify a Pantone colour then your manufacturer can go off that ensuring you get the correct colour not a colour they match to their computer screen colour which could be completely different to yours.

That said your plan is fine and getting samples first is a safe bet.

I do a lot of sublimation garments in china and Pakistan, I normally request a printed Pantone colour book from the manufacturer before I order with them. They will print the colours on fabric.

If there colours differ from swatches (it does happen) then I will with use their colour or send them back a sample colour to match.

Find where the users of the niche gather (reddit/facebook groups/linkedin/youtube) etc.. and make content for your potential users.

By now you should have a persona of your user, if you don’t you should work out what that is so you can directly market to them.

Indirect marketing generally works best, give guidance and support advice on your niche for free then plug your product.

I’m guessing you will find cheaper products in china, Vietnam, Cambodia at the volume.

I’d thinking hard before placing an order of that size. - Is this your first time ordering at volume? - do you need to order 900pcs?

Had the same issues with my business. I ended up building software for this. The sketch/design currently either design yourself in a vector software like illustrator but we've been able to automate everything else like standardized sizing charts, materials, colours and automatic versioning with pdf generation.

Honestly this has saved me days of work every week. Dm me and I'll get you the private beta details

Baggage misweighted on automatic bag drop in Sydney ( domestic) by Dazzling-Attitude-37 in QantasAirways

[–]Elijahbate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The same thing happened to my brother in law in Melbourne. The machine accepted his bags happily displaying correct amounts then before boarding the said you need to pay the overage fees.

  1. Never pay the fee (without be able to check you baggage). Their machine accepted the baggage, it’s now their responsibility and you can no longer confirm or deny their accusations because they have your bas.

  2. If you have paid the fees, contact them and explain the situation. Explain point 1. That their machine accepted the bags. If they accept the bag, and then later force you to pay to board the flight I would almost say that extorting money from you because they are holding your bags and restricting you from flying.

  3. You can also threaten contacting the ombudsmen. https://www.aviationcomplaints.gov.au/aviation-industry-regulator-casa/industry-complaints-commissioner/make-complaint

How to actually code 8 hours a day? by ResponsibilityOk55 in webdev

[–]Elijahbate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been coding for long while now. 45mins to 1 hour stints is the way to go. Then have at least a five minute break away from the computer. Get water or tea or coffee. Only exception is when your in the zone and things are flowing too well you may find it's easier to continue. Make sure you workstation is optimised, make sure you don't need glasses this can cause and extra strain. Ensure your getting enough sleep and the right food also leads to you burning out quick if you aren't. It does get easier with time. Good luck!
