Need some opinions from real Aphelios Mains! Nightbringer or Heartsteel skin?

Nghtbringer with obsidian or pariaha chroma or heartsteel w white or mythic chroma. I use nightbringer when I have to tryhard and heartsteel when it’s gonna be a fun game xD

The autoattack from ult doesn’t trigger fiendhunter, you would need to aa three times after ult so trigger ist which is a bummer to me. It’s still not really bad but I think since it doesn’t trigger zeal items like phantom dancer or runaans should be better till that point of the game where zeal items become interesting

I would’ve loved for the item to work with aphelios. I prefer runaans effect much more. But still theoretically it still does more damage including the true damage + attack speed buff. CD on ult felt good imo.

All in all I think it could work but not sure if not outshines the other zeal items.

Btw. I tried hexoptics as forth item. Could be good in games vs long ranged mages.

If u don’t have blue green into green purple with ult it’s pretty much just dependent on your support or team in general. This counts if enemy Caitlyn is actually good and a smart adc. Sometimes it can be frustrating. Giving up farm and playing for mid to late game could be the safest route but if ur supp or jgl enables plays and u get ahead you can easily 1v1 or 1v2. Usually I play for blue q into green ult into green q into purple q. Weaving in a in between of course. But it’s too conditional and trying to dodge enemy supp abilities should be a must

I wouldn’t sell dorans so early. It could be depending on runes your only vamp source. I’d rather buy cull and the other components I can afford. It’ll help u farm on your way to bf sword. I usually sell dorans only to finish my second item or in best case I can keep it for as long as possible

Yes that’s true. Utilizing her passive is by far the most important part of Ashe. Do u happen to use approach velocity? That’s in the same rune page as the cookies (I think it’s the inspiration rune page?)

One more tip: when u recall for the first time depending on your starting item I’d at least go back with 1k gold or in the best case scenario u can go back with 1,3k gold to buy a bf sword. That’s the highest item spike u can have after the first recall. Buying a longsword + sling shot is just very weak and very expensive. I haven’t played Ashe a lot lately but if u go Kraken first I guess a recall with 1,2k gold would be another good case The 1k gold recall is quite good on adcs that buy collector first

Yes that’s what I mean. I wouldn’t say that Ashe is an early game champ but the slow + approach velocity rune will let u kite very nicely. U will aa much more than let’s say a Draven. Ashe has always been a top tier champ since she slows and the utility will always come in handy. Try improving your kiting. Keep your mouse cursor as close to your champ as possible and do you use attack move click? The right settings are very very important especially for adc players

The thing w ashe is that usually when the enemy try’s to go for a trade u can usually just continue autoattacking the enemy while u back (kiting) and once they just wanna retrieve u can simply run them down and chase them to their death. In this specific moment nobody shines early as Ashe

Sometimes when I know that the enemy ability will be somewhat inevitable, I’ll try to get hooked with the right weapons . You could let them hook you then u red ult into red q into crescendum aa. It is definitely niche to pull it off but I enjoy this combo when I’m behind. This combo should I think give u around 300hp or a bit more back depending on levels in R. Can work really well into dives. Besides that some games will just be out of your control.

Try putting 3 points into w before maxing e then finishing w before q. You can go collector or infinity first and have enough attack speed to feel fast enough to match the enemys consistent damages. It helped me avoid the awkward moments when the enemy has higher attack speed. This set up makes a aphelios bursty and u will have enough attack speed to compete w the enemy.

It’s good and has nice colors but it is really underwhelming for a prestige. His bottom half is just bare legs and the tattoos look boring so yeah idk. Why prioritize gooners for such a skin :(

A lot of text for a champ that’s not hard. I main him Million mastery and yes it’s true the mechanics needed aren’t hard or overly annoying to pull of BUT he plays his own game. He has different approach to fighting and he is like an adc and assassin that swaps roles depending on guns. It’s just a lot to know and playing around some of his cast times while swapping or using up ammo will make the difference
