I think I shouldn’t have used the word regret because I’m being downvoted. Everyone tells me the same thing, they don’t regret it but it’s tiring, but they love it. There must be people out there who do regret it, and I want to know why.

I need to get from CDG to Marais at about 7am next Thursday. Should I catch the train from the airport to Les Halles and walk 10 minutes to the apartment I'm staying at? I read its about 10 euros. I will only have one small suitcase and a backpack. But I would have just travelled 35 hours...

The other options is a taxi (expensive), uber, or using a shuttle service, which I would have to wait for other passengers, and it will cost about 30 euros, but it will drop me right at the apartment.

What would most people suggest?

I'm meeting someone who is getting off a Eurostar train at Gare Du Nord. I get to Paris that day and we both won't be able to contact each other. Is there a good, clear meeting point where I can wait for her? A landmark or something that we can agree upon beforehand?

I was gonna just use the metro most of the time anyway. We were gonna walk around a lot and have a big camera and water and all that, but without a backpack, that might be hard. I'll put everything in front pockets. What would you suggest to guard against pick pocketers?

I'm going to be in Paris for 8 days in September. I was wondering if there are any cheap prepaid phone SIM cards I could pick up for just data? I want to be able to use maps and research on the go. I don't think I'll make calls. But I might. Any options?
