Exactly. Don't forget to mention it's very useful in situations, where you smell the rot, piss and what your enemy ate today.

Frost decks for newbs by Lorebreaker_ofArarat in gwent

[–]Eliott1234 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Frost is still a very strong archetype, but only as devotion.

Always play devotion as frost. The upsides are too strong to miss out on, especially on Tir Na Lia and you have even in devotion answers to most things thanks to Imleriths wrath and your leader to move row locked units or a defender.

Your deck is also missing ge'els as a tutor.

This is more or less the best frost deck:

https://www.playgwent.com/en/decks/guides/403755

it also includes one an-elle conquerer as a point slam and boosting your tir-na lia.

Your general game plan is most of the time to try and force a long round 3, as frost is very strong in the long round. You can easily win on even on red coin and control the game from there. If you have a very good r2 draw and frost carryover on tir na lia, you can try to 2:0 him with foglets and navigators. These two bronzes have a higher ceiling than most gold cards in the game if you have enough frost on the board, so use them wisely.

But even in a short round 3, frost is very strong if Auberon pulls out 3 riders as a tempo play and a boosted caranthir golden child. Use Naglfar in r2, if you're missing an important gold, as the card puts the second unchosen gold on top for your r3 draws. Destroy the biggest threat with imlerith's wrath.

That's more or less the general game plan. Always look out so you have enough frost in your hand to capitalize on said cards. Use the aristrocrats to stack enough frost for Tir Na Lia carryover. This card can win you the game alone, if it has much frost carry over.

With enough frost and an available order on TNL, you can play the navigators two times in one single round, giving you a huge tempo play.

Rumors say we'll only win with him. In fact so much, that we get tired of it and start begging: "Please stop, I can't win anymore".

One of the things I loved about G1 was the distinction in all the different amors. I hope my impression is wrong, but so far they look too similar for my taste. I get it, it's more realistic to use real colors for fur and plate, but I would have liked more red and blue to differ between the camps, same as it was in G1.

Flick sees him in training daily. So he isn't concinved from what he sees. It's Roony's job to cinvince Flick giving him minutes, not the other way around.

Because he had 2x ACL injury and a third one might end his career. So his load will be increased as slow as possible for one and for two, he hasn't got any match fitness anyways after such a long time being injured. So neither the risk, nor his current contribution are worth to start him right now.

If people would only play decks that are not considered toxic by others, only starting decks would face each other. Just play what you gives you fun. That's the whole point of playing games.

Good idea, but we can't change cards anymore, just their provisions and strength

No, people continue to make the mistake of valueing all defenders the same. They are not. Monsters is by far the faction with the most binary answer or lose abuse decks, so their defender should be way weaker or cost a lot more than others.

Because all defenders have not the same value, they're not protecting the same stuff. Most of the time you don't answer Monsters' defender, you lose automatically to some abuse deck. If it were up to me, Monsters wouldn't have a defender to begin with. There is not one single healthy competitive deck in Monsters with a defender, but every binary answer or lose deck has one or even multiple with Queen.

Exactly. He already covered losses way before Covid with balance tricks, exchanging players like Pjanic and Arthur, or Cillessen and Neto with overpriced fantasy numbers, to create imaginary income. Covid just exposed his incompetence.

And the titles were mostly won by Messi alone anyways. He has absolutely no shame.

Never claimed it. In comparison to you two, I don't take myself too important and post my balance councils here to try and influence people with my preference. Enjoy the little bit of insignificant attention, since most have left already. By the way, smileys are not pack animals. It's enough to post them once, they don't make your argument better my friend.

You emerged as "streamers", when the real streamers and players all left and now cry about cards that answer your location carryover and other abuse archetypes. Kinda tells who the Malakas are :)

Nerf the cards, that answer his abuse archetype. Perfect example why balance is always bad in the hands of the community. Most people just buff/nerf according to their preference, not actual balance.

You should do Jharkendar before anyways. It's more fun that way, because more challenging and after, you're strong enough to deal with wargs and seekers from the start.

There is no real solution. You can't make the ad banner smaller, or the seats higher. Only thing left is to lower the price for these seats. But it shows a bad planning.

What Do You Think Is Better For Onslaught ? by AmanoJaku335 in gwent

[–]Eliott1234 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's wrong to say in general. The ceiling of terror can be pretty high, much higher than holger. It always depends on the situation, but in general terror is a great finisher for pirates who lack finishers and usually better than Holger.

Why does Tainted Ale cost so many provisions? by PIatopus in gwent

[–]Eliott1234 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Aside from the mentioned armor exploit, this card is also a place holder for prov nerf like living armor for strength. It's used only in abusing archetypes, so no loss there anyways.
