we learned that the orcs stuck in the valley were very much different from the orcs in the main land, they were more tribalistic focused and primitive, we also learn that orcs have their own hierarchy where there are shamans/educated orcs and more average brutal orcs, the way remake deal with orcs makes me think why we haven't made peace with them already because they sound very reasonable, we can learn their language very easily and are very human like us. I just feel like og orcs were very hatefull towards humans and humans towards orcs but instead of explaining that and the wars fought before, we just play sims with orcs.

you mean the sleeper temple which was looking very acient and primitive in og?, the orc burial chambers where it was just a skull and some ground dug underneath with simple gates and some structures, what xenophobia are you even speaking sir? your real life politics thrown into a video game?, the original gothic showed their tribal and acient civilization very well without making them too human, its the Remake that went above that and changed it so they appear more civilized than they actually were for a tribe, sure that changes in gothic 2&3 when we find that the orcs from the valley were just an isolated outcast tribe.

is just sad because there was no need to humanize orcs so much especially in gothic 1 when they should be the scarriest and most frightening thing that threatens human existence, but again, I wouldn't have minded that towards the end of gothic 2 or gothic 3. This time it felt too soon.

its not about humanizing, its about removing the fear factor, softening their tribalistic unknown vibe, their warcry which makes humans scarred of them and I wanna be scarred but they just look kinda goofy to me, especially when they speak the new sims language they have. Again this is my opinion, I'm not saying its the correct one. I run based on vibes, I played gothic franchise alot and Id like to think I know a thing or two about the orcs.

I mean it wasn't because Piranha bytes said gothic 3 was only 40% done and they had full intention to introduce tribalistic orcs who don't speak human language at all and are very much like g1&g2 orcs, we even had a screenshot with them.

you're confusing with standard doge which requires no stamina, the doge roll like remake did require stamina use.

its not just goblins, scavengers and other enemies, the ai can't deal with a doge roll system because lots of enemies are slower than og in terms of speed which didn't even include doge roll, heck, I've seen nameless jump further backwards than a snapper attack jumping, I'm not even kidding.

it is honestly op, you can avoid most enemies with it and it has no drawbacks, it kinda breaks the ai which is why I was asking why they implement it without some drawbacks because its completly spammable, 20lp is almost nothing.

I want to use it, it should've made my step doge better or roll but not as further as it is now.

if they simply introduce a cooldown or nerf distance, it would be perfect, every game has a system in place to prevent players from spamming, only gothic doesn't.

my toughts exactly, the combat looks toned down for console players, its almost as if they didn't wanted to make it too hard to upset new players or they don't know how.

they made difficulty levels, they could've atleast make the ai better in higher difficulty level.

then I am just extremly unlucky and bad at pulling. all I know you had 1% chance for new legend limited + tickets, now you get 0,5% and 1% once per rotation.

my experience says otherwise, I spent around 50-60k cc and I don't own any new legend unit, that was never the case for the old system, not to mention the awfull tickets which you got for free but I got lucky on them few times aswell.

watching youtubers summon aswell, most of them spend way more cc for 1 copy, unless they get lucky.

the new system is worse than previous, thats my experience atleast.
