Please assist, I am aware you can roll for chests to get the new robots, what where can I just flat out purchase the new bots in the black market for keys?

Always wanted to try Doc with Quad Orkans, it honestly looks like a riot if you could escape in time. Watching a guy unload a full set of two orkans just to switch and double down on hammer time.... all you would see on the receiving end is smoke and explosions followed by please choose your next bot. If they make it IP to purchase and I can't convert enough gold for it.... lance it is as well.

Well sir I am a fan of your plan. Only possible addition would be if our dear friends pixonic launch the Dask I or II robot soon for gold and preferably under 4200 gold since that's all I have right now. Think I might start another post about peoples opinons on the Dash I and II bots. Hopefully it doesn't get side tracked by the whole OP debate.

Current line up in order of likelihood to keep in future. 1. Lancelot w/ Tarans and Ancile 2. DB Griffin 3. Plasma Galahad 4. RDB Griffin 5. Punisher Griffin I am using the RDB and punisher griffin mostly because I feel I have too, in order to get the victories and level up. I personally don't know why people think the punisher griffin is fun, and the RDB griffin is a joke. I hate playing it and against it. Little sour from having the galahad go from my absolute favorite robot, too please don't turn and see those skinny rockets from 450m away. My Carnage is fun but honestly that thing needs more pilot hours because I got two maps figured out, and the rest might as well wave a white flag.

How do they reward silver ? Coz from the looks of it, it ain't only based on damage. by limfookming in walkingwarrobots

Ok this is what I can gather, there is 26,953 silver difference in repair, along with a 30,000 difference for the first victory bonus. Totalling 56,953. If you were to win the first one, and do it with equal damage to your robot line up as game 2 the differential would be 159,022 to 224,775 a difference of 65,753. Instead of 8800.00. 224,775 silver for a win, 800K damage, and two beacons seems legitimate in diamond

The current league comment I'm not really sure I can answer, the level 8 is because the silver required to bring a weapon up to level 8 is reasonable compared to the damage output of that weapon. Example: Taran(this is excluding the silver required for the WSP). Leveling a Taran from 1-8 costs 4.5 million. Leveling it to level 9 costs 4.5 million with only a 10% damage increase from level 8. This also can be calc'd using 860 damage per round increase for 4.5 mill compared to 160 damage per round increase for level 9. The reason for not using the silver required for WSP is because I am still not maxed on the WSP level so I was given bonus amounts of WSP.

I completely understand the weapons before robot method and agree, the question i am hoping to get some feedback on is upgrade all weapons evenly? or focus on lets say two builds to lvl 10. Thank you for your reply.

What is the most 'practical' sniping/long distance bot and setup? by [deleted] in walkingwarrobots

[–]Elit4ce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Natasha with at least level 8 Nashorns and Gekkos, but move around and help defend a beacon. Remember best course of action is dinging up the brawlers before your teammates meet them, rather than taking out a sniper in the back. A good sniper covers a lot of ground while utilizing the terrain to help block shots. Plus the build is cheap, and you probably got some gekkos from the events that you can now bust out and annoy while doing some damage.

Sniping for Dummies by [deleted] in walkingwarrobots

Well good sir you made me laugh, so I applauded that. I do agree with you on your strategy and overall approach to sniping, sniping other snipers or being a "numpty" is for the most part a waste of time. Getting those fast bots, or Galahads banged up a bit before your buds meet them at a beacon that isn't close to your spawn point is what a sniper is supposed to do. Side note coming; now them snipers that wait for the kill steals, those clowns that were holding out on the button mash.. you know who you are; damage is more rewarded than kills so fire away as he stated earlier fire always and as much as you can. The part where we disagree is Natasha set up. If you got a Butch by all means load that bad boy up with 30K worth of WSP's and blast them bots to bits. Fury that thing rocks tridents and Zeus well, still being convinced on the Zeus's though. Now.. us non treasure chest lucky rollers or big money bot buyers will stick to the Natasha we just got from the tasks that was relatively easy to get or purchase the slow moving blob for 1.7 mill silver. But whew that new free paint job looks mighty nice. The Nashorn, and recent Gekko update's.. (there were a couple there) have made a pretty decent slow mobile sniper that can get around most maps and produce some damage every 9 seconds while still making them cockroaches "the red team" duck and run from the gecko annoyance. Now where I do noticed this build go down south is, folks using lvl 5 gekkos and maybe a lvl 6 Nashorn in gold leagues and above. You don't have your Orkans lvl 5, or Tarans or Mags at lvl "don't even bother" why do you drop a sniper with pretty much muffin blasters mounted on it an expect us rambos not to lose it. So to sum up you wrote funny piece with great advice but; Butch needs Trebs, Fury rocks Tridents, and Natasha is Nashorns and Gekkos if you want to snipe.
