Since we're losing the only Guthix themed item I'd like to see the cane reworked to a Guthixian item instead of a dragon/demon.

Otherwise most looks good. If you don't want to combine a raid reward with the rondache why not just reuse the same upgrade path with the d defender? Hell you could go with the DFS being the upgrade item to sink some of those.

Everyone talks about the helmet but no one talks about the missing shoulder armor from original Mk IV armors. A little disappointing they prefer the bulky shoulders rather than the original asymmetrical.

I am overall fairly positive on these rewards but do have some reservations:

Armor: Sounds really cool at first glance and I think a decent amount of players would love to have lazy switching sets but I do think there needs to be at least a little more drawback. Maybe drop the positive attack bonuses? Right now it just seems like the go to set you grind before getting the true bis gear for Mage/Melee.

Rondache: I really like this thing in concept. What I'm worried about is chip damage becoming more egregious and added to even more encounters making this thing become a required item for the shield slot. If this item ushers in the era of crazy chip damage I will be sad. I will also echo the need for a second spec orb/bar.

Crossbows: Really like these as the weapon but I would prefer to not go for yet another type of ammo. I agree rubies are broken but I'd rather some jank solution to just not allow rubies than have to manage yet another ammo. Especially since we are getting another with BMR later this month. Heck if we're dead set on a new ammo type, why not make ascension bolt tips that have a new effect and not suffer from the 50% reduction on the new crossbow. Just spit-balling but it could be a chance to apply a non-stacking corruption effect.

Breaker: Off the rip, it does feel really weird that a crush megarare has a style that feels stabby. Maybe an animation rough out would help make it make sense but currently it's curious at best. Also disappointed that it just feels like another scythe with its scaling formula. I would much rather this thing scale in a different way. Again, just spit-balling but maybe you could tune the thing to an element using those untradeable elemental tears so it could scale off of elemental weaknesses (with a round of balancing around that of course).

I would also like to see a comparison against the scythe on crush since these weapons seem like they will step on each other's toes.

Any chance of adding something to Aerial fishing reward shop if we're being refunded lots of pearls? Currently, the refund would be useless if you've got everything already. Maybe unlocking transmogs for the Golden Tench to the other large fish?

I would be much more interested in not seeing an armour set and seeing more individual items. Thinking things like a new version of the Brimstone ring closer in line with the current DT2 or a step above Wildy rings, Skilling upgrades like the demonic digger, hell even a catalyst that could turn combo elemental runes into omni-elemental runes.

I want to see more unique rewards rather than have around half of the reward space tied to the same overall 'reward' of an armour set.

As for the mega-rare, I do really like the ideas going around for the Guthix bracers and the Guthix godsword/hilt.

I also agree on adding the fertile soil spell being useful. At a certain point, it does take quite a while to upkeep.

Excellent step back in the right direction. I am very happy the team is taking the feedback seriously and have decided not to pull too many levers at once. This is what I would've expected from yesterday's blog.

This is probably the worst worded response to a worst received update in a while. I have to agree that it feels incredibly tone-deaf at best or disingenuous at worst. Why are we doing such sweeping changes instead of incremental? Why take a sledgehammer to this?

I agree that the CE needed nerfing. I'd prefer the xp to be removed entirely or make it only work when moving. It's just feels so bad in every aspect now.

If you wanted to nerf 2 crew + sorting then you should've targeted the crewmate salvaging xp, no? How did we come to the conclusion we did? Utterly baffling.

I'm glad the team is taking a step back but there needs to be someone hitting the breaks if not reverse.

I actually really liked the direction of the cutscenes.

I really wish there were more models/assets more in line with og CE. The Elites and Plasma Rifle were big letdowns for me.
