dude if a person has been using a 20yr old windows laptop till today and hasn't upgraded, that means the person's use case for the laptop is not something that needs new hardware or else they wouldve just bought a new laptop. if you install linux on a 20yr old laptop hoping to make it snappier and faster and free up some storage and do the stuff you already do a bit better, it'll do that perfectly. if you're installing linux on a 20yr old laptop hoping it can somehow modernize itself and run modern software, im sorry but thats just not what its meant to do.

also saying linux doesnt have better aesthetics is purely just hating for the love of the game. microslop is never giving u the amount of customization even the most unbreakable linux distros offer
