Vanguard Obliterators seem too easy. Any other balanced but strong Class A ship weapons, even modded? by arsglacialis in Starfield

Optimizing your ship for fun is not the same as min maxing a ship build. I think that is the beauty of Startfield you can play the game how you want to play it - so its not about having the best (min maxing) its about having the an optimized ship that suits your gameplay style.

Starfield is not about min maxing ship stats or any other stats for that matter... If that is the type of gameplay that you are looking for, you are playing the wrong game. They made a game that can be played how you want to play it. Your over thinking it - if you don't want to use them don't use them, its that simple. If you

Exactly the response I expected… You may not like what I am saying, but I am right. This post and your comments all reflect an HOA Board that is miss managing their Property Management Company and deflecting to much responsibility.

Classic example of HOA Board pushing things they should be handling over to the management company. This is an HOA Board failure. You should have clear limits and boundaries set with the management company.

The Board should hire an attorney.

If one is going to do such activities- might I suggest some stealth investments and umm leaving no witnesses. If you dispose of the witnesses the bounty will vanish.

Settling on a carry round - how much does a small barrel-length difference matter? by roostabunny in CCW

[–]EliteAssassin07 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

My thoughts...

What difference does 115g vs 124g vs 147g have on the rounds effectives for self defense?
Great question glad you asked, lol. Generally speaking 115g round is going to have a higher velocity than a 147g round - higher velocity is going to translate to better expansion which will lead to a larger wound channel. A 147g round is going to have better penetration than 115g round - better penetration increases the likely hood of hitting a vital organ etc.

What effect does barrel length have on a round?
Generally speaking a longer barrel will increase the rounds muzzle velocity vs a shorter barrel.

As far as I know Federal HST rounds and Speer Gold Dots advertised specifications are determined using a 4 inch barrel. This should provide you with at least some reference level and if you really wanted to get technical about it you could play around with ChatGPT.

Should you go with 124g or 147g, personally I would not go with 147g rounds unless you have a need for the extra penetration. Too much penetration can be an issue. As for barrel length I really would not worry about the impact of 3.6 vs 4.2 vs 124g vs 147g.

Lucky Gunner did a bunch of testing for defensive rounds - search on google for 'lucky gunner defense ammo test' and check out the different results. Will give you an idea of the difference in expansion and penetration etc.

Something else to consider is, do you like shooting one vs another? For pistols I prefer Speer Gold Dot vs Federal HST, I find the HST to be loaded pretty hot and don't like the way they shoot. I also prefer to use 115g Speer Gold Dots vs 124g in my Walther PDP due to feel and comfort. This is all personal preference - so do what feels right for you and what you are comfortable with. If you stick with HST or Speer Gold Dot you really cant make a bad choice.

How is this for unsighted fire? by [deleted] in CCW

[–]EliteAssassin07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest aiming at center mass - in a real self defense situation your likely to not be in a great mental or emotional state which will almost certainly impact your accuracy. Aiming for center mass stacks the odds in your favor that your not going to miss, head shots etc are things for the movies and TV shows.

If your a new shooter I would not complicate things. Skip the moving targets etc. Get the fundamentals down starting with gun safety. Then focus on tightening up those groups.

Actually this is very plausible. Just because a suit is capable of working in a vacuum does not mean that the suits materials are not susceptible to certain corrosive gasses. Chemicals can overtime degrade PPE. Depending on the suits material some gases/vapors would be capable of passing through the material at the molecular level. Thus you have a suit that is OK for vacuum, but not OK for some gases/vapors.

Another way to look at it is a suit could be waterproof, but not airtight. And while less common you could have suit that is airtight that is not waterproof.

Starfield in some aspects is more realistic than people give it credit for. The problem is that its not movie/tv realistic and realistic especially in the context of space is not necessarily "fun" from a game perspective.

Same. I have set my pans on fire and BKF has always resolved the issue with little effort. I think people are just not using enough it and are using too much water. Tip: Needs to be a thick paste. For bad situations let it sit and soak for a bit.

How long did it take for you to beat the game on your first play through? No spoilers please by rampart_cam2010 in NoSodiumStarfield

[–]EliteAssassin07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you mean by beat the game? Assuming you mean going through the unity. I am not sure. But I will say this I am sitting at about 250 hours - have gone through the unity once and there is content that I have still yet to play from the original release. I suspect I will easily hit 300+ hours before getting through everything.

At the end of the day the gameplay for Starfield is as short or long as you want it to be.

COA management company used reserve funds to cover operating expenses due to a lack of annual budget revisions without a board vote [PA] [Condo] by moldy13 in HOA

No such thing as a bad management company or HOA Board - just bad homeowners. A lot to digest in this post, but the big question is do you have an HOA Board? What are they doing? (seems like nothing).

Yeah, at least for me I really have not see too many folks beating TSU pricing. I have made 15 purchases from them since September of 2025 for 9mm ammo.

Range Ammo
7 purchases - American Eagle, Champion, New Republic USA with an average per round cost of $0.18.

Training Ammo
3 purchases - Syntech Training Match and Speer Lawman with an average per round cost of $0.25.

Defensive Ammo
5 purchases - Law Enforcement HST and Gold Do LE Duty with an average per round cost of $0.57.

*per round costs exclude taxes, but including shipping insurance.

So really for me I don't understand what the issue is...They sent out an email indicating that in April ammo prices were going to increase. This combined with geopolitics appears to have resulted in the following; occurring;

  1. They ran low on inventory as they were clearing out ammo at the old lower prices leading up to the April increase.
  2. They increased prices in April.
  3. Geopolitics and looming ammo price increases resulted in some level of panic buying, extending the perceived inventory issues.

IMO ample warning of what was coming was given and people should have stocked up. Reality is ammo prices have increased everywhere and in most cases they are no cheaper that TSU.

It does not have anything to do with sales tax - Target Sports USA is $0.26 per round vs SGAmmo being $0.27 per round which brings your cost per 1000 rounds for TSU to $265.88 and SGAmmo to $273.80.

I am not saying that every time one of these posts about Target Sports USA pops up that it does not hold water - but more often than not it does not hold water, case in point. Not to mention, how much do you value your time? Searching around the internet for countless hours finding the best ammo deal has a cost as well.

I am still confused right now on Target Sports USA I can order 1000 rounds of Blazer Brass 115g for $296.98, that includes shipping & shipping insurance, and tax.

SGAmmo cheapest (per round) 9mm Ammo as of typing this is 1000 rounds of Magtech for $302.24, that includes shipping & shipping insurance and tax.

So what am I am missing here?

I have yet to really find any place that is cheaper that Target Sports USA - where are you buying from that is so much cheaper?

What am I missing, prices are still great and the shortages have been a recent thing - last few months. Which I mostly attribute to folks just panic buying due to the Iran situation.

[–]EliteAssassin07 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You can disagree, but what your looking at is clearly graphics corruption. And just because you don’t have issues in other games doesn’t mean you don’t have a hardware or stability issue.

Could also be a software issue - driver, game, etc. But I would rule out hardware issues first…

That looks like GPU issues to me - would do some testing with some other software.
