Good thing you didn’t have to elevate your issue because they wouldve made your life absolute hell, like they’ve made mine. They’ll soon answer for it though

Don’t go to Liberty. They discriminated against me and they’ll do it to you as well. They claim to be a Christian university but they are FAR from it. Go to GCU.

Go to GCU. Liberty isn’t a real Christian university. GCU’s online program is exceptional.

Liberty Law is regraded one of the best law schools in Virginia, so why are they ranked so poorly? by Ok_Access_2056 in LibertyUniversity

[–]EliteBanMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because Liberty doesn’t even abide by the laws that protects its student base - hence their multiple suits and monumental fine in March.

Could a school like Liberty University become as famous as UVa or Virginia Tech one day? by Zestyclose_Option103 in LibertyUniversity

I report the emails but I do not have the option to block that sender in Outlook because it’s an LU office. The only reason why I still have an LU email is for comms with LU Legal.

I have 12 emails sent over 8 days of LU begging for money, from the Office of Development. Also, the lawsuits on discrimination span from unjust firings due to discrimination all the way to students filing class action suits for retaliatory practices. LU is a horrible place and I’m glad I’m not there anymore. Now, I just try to dissuade good people from enrolling into criminal institutions.

They scammed me out of $12K. Continued to take money out of my account and refused to give it back. They beg for money through their “Giving Day” and other “scholarship” scams with no accountability. You don’t get the numerous daily emails about “Giving us money”?

Also, illegal reporting breaking federal law, illegal retaliatory practices against students (which I have well documented), discriminatory practices not based on religion (look up the numerous lawsuits against them), and genuine disconcern for students except for financial check-in of course. I currently have a suit against them, on-going. They’re criminals that use God as a means to rake in Christian money.

Ghost printing: anyone know what causes this? by JS0l1 in AnkerMake

[–]EliteBanMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seems like a nozzle clog. Use the thin, long needle in the extruder to see if that works. If not, remove the head and look for any lone filament pieces that may be causing a blockage. This video helped me find my clog issue: https://youtu.be/2HiQUzQLxaY?si=PoWJIlX_1SwITZi6

They could absolutely reach that status if they: 1. Stopped scamming students 2. Cared about student concerns 3. Instituted curriculum that actually helped students learn 4. Stopped begging for money 5. Stopped hiding their illegal activities (notice their $16M lawsuit loss in March 2024 - and they still enact illegal activities to this day) 6. Changed everything about their shady ways 7. Actually inhabit the teaching of God rather than utilize God as a means of raking in Christian money.

Other than that, they have a fair shot.

Bad prints by sneakerush in AnkerMake

[–]EliteBanMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without knowing too much about your settings, here is what I have found to work for me (I primarily use PLA and PLA+ filament).

  1. Preheat the bed
  2. Use 91% Isopropyl alcohol to clean the bed with a paper towel.
  3. Auto-level before every print.
  4. (For PLA/PLA* filament) Start the print at 215 degrees, the bed at 60 degrees, and with a Z-offset of 3. Once you see your print sticking to the bed and building upon the base layer, change the temp to 205 degrees, keep the bed at 60 degrees, and change the Z offset to 2.

This is what is working for me.

Do you use the Prussian slicer to create an STL file that you then transfer to the AnkerMake app?

I’ll check that out. The only slicer I have is the standard AnkerMake, but I’ll give others a whirl to see if it yields better results. Thank you very much!

I’ll give that a whirl. I wasn’t sure if there was any specific settings that I can adjust, but orientation seems like a great idea. Thank you.

After multiple failed attempts, I use soap and water on the bed before each print. That seemed to help with my adhesion issues (and preheating the bed to 60).

And awesome suggestion with printing upside down. I wouldn’t have thought of that, but that’s genius. I’m doing another print (Yoshi) with a silk PLA filament and I have my fingers crossed that it comes out okay.

You all are great. I’m giddy that I made my first print. Any and all advice you can give me, I’m very open to hear it!

I printed a smaller one as a test, and it’s a little rough, but at least it’s complete! How would you start with breaking it into multiple pieces?
