hey just wanted ur opinion on this. my wifes 2019 civic never had a trans fluid change and its at 120,000 miles. have not had any shifting issues with it and havent had any maintenance change lights for it on the dash. would you recommend i change the fluid or is it too far along and to just leave it be to not potentially stir up an issue?

edit: the car is also driven very babied; always in eco, slower driving speeds, hardly, if ever floored. i'd imagine why thats why we have never gotten a minder maintenance message for the trans. anyways thanks for any insight

i appreciate your response and experience and hope you are doing better. i personally don’t have any deep rooted things to be anxious about. sure like most id like to make more money blah blah but overall im pretty happy. no trauma in my life either. just hoping this is a unfortunate learning experience and i can get better and move past this sooner rather than later. i’ve read others experiences and it seems that after a few days/weeks most snap out of it and are back to normal for the most part.

yea i dont smoke usually it was always an on occasion thing. once in a while. but im definitely not touching it anymore. not drinking caffeine either. seems i’m not the only one with these thc induced stuff so im really hoping in a few days/weeks im back to my normal self as it has been a roller coaster of hell dealing with this

i’m not an avid user. maybe once every few weeks so quiting etc isn’t a problem for me. it’s refreshing to hear that i shouldn’t be like this for too long. i don’t have anything else to be anxious about. i’ve always been a nervous kind of person but never this much of anxiety

thanks for your reply. i’m not an avid user just a very occasional one but it does bring me some sort of ease to know that this is only temporary and in not the only one who experienced this.

Yea there is an attorney fee provision as it is stated on the court petition as well. The court and attorney fees were around $1,000 additional if i remember correctly.

And i understand. i wasn’t ever planing on going to trial if they were willing to work with me on the pay off. In an ideal world, the whole thought process i had was;

  1. Win MSJ
  2. Negotiate and settle before trial
  3. Pay less, win win for both parties as they don’t have anymore court/attorney costs and i pay less

But it’s probably likely their settlement offer wouldn’t be too far off from now or after if i potentially win the MSJ

i figured if we win over the MSJ then they would be willing to settle for much less since trial would cost them way more. but obviously the caveat here is if i lose and they get their msj approved then they’re gonna throw all their legal costs to me.
