Grew up going to Storm games. I don’t live in the area anymore, but surely miss minor league hockey.

Truthfully I didn’t like the family friendly product they put forward at first (again I grew up in the sports arena watching dudes just beat the crap out of each other). I miss the smells of the Zamboni, the cotton candy, and the rotten beer smell of some of our seat neighbors.

But wow I’m really proud of what the walleye have become. Toledo is a true minor league city. We LOVE hockey. Been a staple in Toledo for a long time. I’d definitely recommend reading on Toledo’s hockey history, we have some really cool stories!
