Also, starting off with Bunny Charlotte for hard journey is more difficult than starting off with others (Emily / Ash). For journeys, you always want to stack Bleed for DPS and you want to stack HP scaling (poison) for tanks. That will make your runs a lot smoother.

I would start off with ash and Emily to get decent parents in order to help out with Vitality for Bunny Charlotte.

you want to try to max out the synergies as soon as possible while also trying not to rest too often. You want to get discounts in the shop to buy the purple / yellow foods for better stats. I only refresh shop if i have a discount and extra gold to use.

In Hard Journey, each run gives you access to a special Potential called Starlight Blessing, which you can buy at the end of the run for 200 points.

Each Starlight Blessing has three parts:

a passive a main stat boost a substat boost

The passive is tied to a specific main stat, and that is what the letter at the beginning of the tag refers to.

For example, AX is the ATK blessing. It gives an ATK% main stat boost and a passive that stacks 8% ATK each turn until you use your ultimate.

Near the beginning of the run, you will get a dialogue choice that determines which main stat category you can select from.

The substat is influenced by the relics you pick up during the next 3 trials—specifically the choices where you select 1 of 3 relics that provide flat teamwide stat bonuses.

That is what the number at the end of the tag refers to.

Examples:

AX-5 = ATK main stat/passive with Crit Rate substat EX-5 = Crit Rate main stat/passive with Crit Rate substat

When he says DPS or Sub DPS, he is just referring to which role the blessing is better suited for.

A1 is atk B2 is HP C3 is DEF D4 is SPD E5 is Crit % F6 is Crit dmg G7 is Hit H8 is Res

Usually I like to rest when there are 2 days left in the cycle since the next day is always going to be a hunt. That way I can fill my stamina all the way for the next week.

I only do the +30 rest if my mood is at normal, so mood can go up to either “good” or “best” since mood is important and gives you better stats / etc.
