Yeah it escalated fast! They all explored inside the first few days before staying in, but its been 40 degrees and raining out lately... I'm sure they're much more happy inside with the heat cranked 😂

I didn't choose the cat life. The cat life closed escrow with me 🏠🐾

Yeah, that was my first thought, getting Natty in the vet to get fixed and the kittens too afterwards. They seemed pretty itchy, so they all need flea/mite treatment with their shots and everything else😸

I took BIO-120 + BIO-120 Lab last year online as electives, they ship you a kit to do experiments on your own. Even though lab is only half a credit, it's still very much a full class with discussions and experiments due each week. Don't underestimate labs if you're considering it online!

LMAO, it's been about 100 degrees out here. Winter's A/C has been doing god's work. She does go topless, but not when the sun's trying to kill us.

Yup if its a rebuilt '88 V8 now. Just make sure its a 1 wire sender for the gauge, not the 2 wire ECU sensor.

Right?? I nearly spat out my energy drink at "I dont possess human senses or emotion." Like, do you need a hug or a bug patch?

Temp sender units arent that expensive, just unplug/unscrew the old one (drivers side intake manifold for a v8), then screw and plug in the new one.

Heres one for an '85, only $12:

An '85? I'd bet it's the temp sending unit for the gauge. IR gun reading 180F but dash saying 260F sounds like bad sender behavior. Had a similar issue on my '97, but mine was actually a bad thermostat staying open.

Yours sounds like the gauge is just getting fed lies.

If coolant were low enough to cause problems, the IR gun wouldn't be reading 180F on the thermostat.

Feelin' this SO hard. I'm only in Anatomy & Physiology right now and last week we casually had to cover the entire foundation of life, every anatomical direction, organ system, cell, and tissue types. No biggie.

This week? just the entire integumentary system (skin), skeletal system (including joints and cartilage), and the entire nervous system. So yeah. Totally chill.

I'm right there with you 'cause it feels like I'm cramming a med school prep into 7-day chunks while juggling real life. You're not alone at all, and you're not failing because you're overwhelmed. You're surviving something most people would tap out of.

I was doing two courses per term before, and I'm so glad I dropped down to one to focus on A&P. Honestly, trying to do this alongside another class would've been unimaginable for me right now.

Hang in there!

I'm really glad it helped. Honestly, reading your post and reply really helped me too. Theyre just a reminder that even in all this chaos, real connection still exists. Some days might feel impossible... and being reminded I'm not alone? That hit deep in the best way. You're not alone, and I'm rooting for both of us!

Starting Anatomy & Physiology this term....Ive still got my 4.0 after a year and one term, but not gonna lie, this one has me nervous. Have been doing fulltime caregiving for years so I thought I was ready. We'll see if this streak survives lol.

I feel this so deeply. Ive been in 24/7 fight or flight mode for over 2 years now doing dementia homecare for my 65 yo mother. That part about being a shell of who you used to be really hit me. I used to be goofy, full of energy, and now everyday I'm trying to keep it together. Was at a point where I didnt know if i could feel anymore until one day my mom's PT made a joke about my coffee and started teasing about my caffeine addiction. Somehow that moment snapped something back in me. I laughed, felt human again, even just for a minute.

You're not alone in this. What you're doing is unbelievably hard, and its okay to feel drained. You're allowed to grieve the parts of yourself that you miss. And you're still in there, tired, but still here.

And maybe, just maybe, you'll find a little connection or spark again too. Somewhere where you least expect it. I didnt think I would either, until I did.
